Scaredy Cat was relaxing in an old chair in the attic. He looked around his favorite place. Somehow, he always discovered new things up there even though he had explored every inch of it many times. Over there in the corner was a beautiful flower he had never seen before and in that box, he suddenly saw a cute teddy bear looking up. Scaredy was always amazed, but he couldn’t quite work out how these new things appeared. Though… That flower… Didn’t it have the same colors as his old Fancy Feather Fascinator? Oh, yes! Looking at it from this angle and with that red ball in front of it played a trick on his mind. Scaredy moved a little and now he could see the two things as they usually looked. He wondered if that was what happened every time he saw new things from a distance in the attic? How fascinating that his senses could deceive him this way. Scaredy started imagining how he could put things together to see completely different objects, it was a fun pastime…

This week we will explore the ways our senses (sight in particular) can play tricks on us. We hope your pets will be just as fascinated as Scaredy Cat that a ball is not just a ball but can be a clown nose or a tomato or something completely different.. We want to see how your pet can use the Alien Spacecraft Overlay (found in the shop ‘On Sale’ for 8 Copper Trolls) in a work of art. The only rule is, that it cannot be an alien spacecraft overlay! So, will your pet use it as a hat? Will it be a swimming pool? A roof? A bowtie? Show us your imaginative use of this specific item :)
