It's night time in Australia, and as the sun sets on Sydney, the Blue Mountains come to life. Illuminated by starlight, the steep cliffs and rolling peaks of the range seem to shimmer in the darkness. And in the sky is the unmistakable Southern Cross, shining down upon the city and offering a guidance very like that of the North Star, Polaris, in the Arctic regions. The constellation graces not only the sky. but the flag of the Australian people, and is a familiar sight to anyone residing on this huge continental island.

A pair of tiny beady eyes staring back at us from a small hole near the floorboards… Such a shy little mouse. He’s so nervous his little whiskers are quivering! Perhaps we should invite him in and make him feel at home…if we’ll be sharing the premises anyways, we might as well try to be friends!

And they're off! Wow, those dragonflies are zipping along with such grace and agility! Amazing!! A double-triple-zipper-flipper-dipper! I had heard there were going to be some new acrobatic moves that had never been done before, but that was simply breathtaking! We'll have to look at that again, this time in slow-motion, so we can appreciate their incredible aerobatic abilities. That is some of the most spectacular formation flying I have ever seen. What is in that dragonfly energy drink that they were sipping before the race? Maybe I should try some of that in the morning instead of coffee to get me going.

It was here that the original Owl and Pussycat set sail on their voyage of love. Every year, owls and pussycats descended from their famous line feel compelled deep inside to come to this beautiful place and sail this fabulous sea, just as their ancestors did. This time the owls are trying to prove which of them is the best sailor by rounding the most buoys possible. But their pussycats will still love them anyway.
