Great feasts are enjoyed and the drums beat long into the nights and on the last evening, the pinnacle night, Mount Fury throws into the night sky tiny chunks of molten lava. As bits of fire rain overhead, the islanders’ dive into the waves, seeking out those pieces of stone that are cooled by the oceans kiss and turned into a prized gem. The Firestone Gem, once polished, captures the hue of lava at its most beautiful, a perfect red-orange treasure.

Happy New Year! It's time for the Mochitsuki ceremony! A delicious way to celebrate the new year is with our multicoloured rice cake treats called 'mochi'. Try our 'Daifuku' (great luck) options in four different flavours: 'Ichigodaifuku' (strawberry), 'kusa mochi' (green), Blueberry (blue), or 'kagami mochi' (mirror mochi). Our outsides are simple and colourful, but it's our insides that hide a special surprise! Will you get sweet red bean paste or fruit or even ice-cream? Mochi may look too pretty to eat but trust us, they're worth it!

Some people say I’m the tastiest of sodas. Orange flavored and fizzy, I’m sure to be a real treat!

One day, a particularly talented penguin decided to make a very special shape. She had a stock of hexagons and pentagons that nobody seemed to want, so she fitted them together until they all joined up perfectly and I was created. I get my name because I'm the same shape as a carbon molecule called buckminsterfullerene, but I'm not proud. If you want to use me as a football, go right ahead!
