On the off chance I find a lost boat in my frozen waters I help guide them through the everchanging cracks and freezes and back to warmer waters. Sometimes it's lonely living away from other pets, but I rarely feel alone.

Let the calming sounds of the gentle waves crashing upon the outlying rock stacks lull you into a trance of serenity as your thoughts drift. Before you realize it you've become light enough to glide along the warm breeze with me.

As the stars begin to spread across the darkened sky I begin to dip into the flowing river. Wetting my wings as I dive down to skim along the mossy stones. With every dip down I collect some of the damp moss and bring it back to my home.

As the day carries on I flutter along the rock bank, watching the water in its leisurely travel. I wonder how it feels to be the water, in a constant ever-changing state of motion. To travel the world both independent and merged with all water of the world. Then I get distracted by the vibrant rocks below the water's surface and try to collect some to decorate my gorgeous flower field.

As the gentle sprinkle becomes a stronger pour from the clouds above, I begin my favourite pastime - basking in the rain. I stretch myself wide, allowing as many of the raindrops to bounce against my wings as possible. It's relaxing to allow yourself to become one with the storm around you.

After the passing storm, a thick fog settles over my mountains. For those familiar with the many winding mountain paths, they know where and when to make camp and wait out the fog. Yet my mountains regularly call to travelling and adventurous pets, those who don't know the dangers the sudden fog can hide.

My job doesn't end when the other pets arrive. I fly through the fire and smoke, signaling others to the shifting wind and conditions. If I find a pet lost in the blaze, it is my duty to help guide them to safety.

Once I sense the air change, I travel to nearby homes to warn pets to take cover and help the elderly pets reach safety. As I finish my rounds I begin the dangerous portion of my job, tracking the storm as it travels across the terrain.

Hi. My name is Scaredy Cat. If I looked scared, it's probably because I am. But often, when I'm scared, it's because I don't always do well with things outside of my comfort zone. And the main reason for that is because I was diagnosed as having Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am the first cat to have autism.
I am learning how to cope with the unknown and with things that make me nervous or afraid. I have a super support network - including my BFF, Bob the Blue Scaly Monster. Yes - he's my BFF and I am thankful for him.
I'm learning some coping skills so that I when I'm facing new situations, I don't get so upset or want to run and hide. One of the things that helps is my service dog, JJ. She is always there when I really need some reassurance.
I do like to go on adventures, despite the fact that they can be scary sometimes. If you join me, maybe we can support each other in those scary moments and find a way to have a great time!

Look out below! I just can't sit still, I have to fly! Err, glide really. But that doesn't matter, it's tons of fun either way - gliding place to place, like a loosed arrow. I'm always on the move through the air, one day I'll make the longest glide in PnF history! For practice I find the highest point I can - treetop, mountain, door frame - and away I go!

Sometimes... I get a little too rambunctious... And I'm forced to have a little "down time". I don't enjoy spending my time sitting around... alone... I'd much rather be gliding around with 20 or so friends then sitting here "thinking about what I did".

Ohh! Did you see that? That was a terrific glide! I can hardly wait until it's my turn to climb up there and jump. I can see it now - the wind rushing past me as I glide, flying past trees and gourd houses. It sounds absolutely exhilarating!
