Then for lunch maybe eat half of half a dozen apples and dig up some flower bulbs. For laughs I'll sneak into my cousin's room and tangle up their ear bud wires... And after dinner maybe go torment the llamas the next town over.

Hi! This is nice, sitting here with you and having a quiet conversation. I don’t believe I have properly introduced myself to you. I am a Wombat. I live, usually, in Australia. First, I would like to get out of the way, what everyone wants to talk about. My butt. Yes, I have heard all the jokes, and I have to say my butt serves me well. Yes, it is rather round and large with no tail to speak of—the advantage should be obvious—nothing to grab hold of. You could blame it on my bones—yes, everyone says that I know. But I do have very heavy bones, though my butt is mostly cartilage and not bones.
You see, if someone is chasing me, all I have to do, is run for my burrow and stick my head inside, but I leave my butt outside. No one can get in, and since my butt can't be hurt by bites or scratches, I am pretty safe. My butt can crush an enemy, so a word of caution for you, don’t invite me to sit on your most delicate chairs. I would hate to crush anything you value.

I often spend my days basking in the sun, watching the clouds roll by. Other pets sometimes throw food at me, though I don't know why. I'm capable of getting my own food. Maybe it's a local custom with which I am unfamiliar. I don't complain, however. I often turn to thank them, but the pets run off soon as I open my mouth! Maybe they don't want my gratitude?

The Whiskered Walrus of PnF is a hearty soul who enjoys basking in the sunshine or snuffling along the ocean floor in search of tasty tidbits with highly sensitive vibrissae (aka whiskers). These proud pinnipeds are only exceeded in size by their cousins the elephant seals (who always manage to block the buffet table at family reunions!) In spite of the massive tusks, the Whiskered Walrus is a gentle soul, always ready to lend a flipper to pets in need, share a snack of mollusks and seaweed or blow a whiskery, fishy scented kiss!

I am the precious leopard complex mutation of the appaloosa horse breed. You are very lucky to find me in PnF land, because I almost disappeared entirely at the end of the Bronze Age! Historians think this might have been due to my night blindness, which made it more difficult for me to communicate, find food at night, and find a safe place to avoid predators that could easily spot my beautiful white markings.

Ancient cave paintings depict me pulling bronze chariots, but more often I pulled the logs and stones my people used to make roundhouses in stone hut circles.

I'm a happy little horse with a gentle and friendly disposition. Sometimes I feel like galloping and jumping around, but sometimes I just like to take the air and talk to my friends. Occasionally you will find me looking at the ground very carefully. I'm not looking for clover - I'm talking to a butterfly!

Is your tank large enough for me? I hope so, I don't do fish bowls. Too tiny for my frame, my kind averages 15 centimeters in length, sometimes up to 25.5 centimeters. Not to brag, of course. I love warm water, but prefer dark places, so none of those ridiculously bright plastic foliage, please. And don't worry about those other fish swimming about, I'll keep them in line. As a natural leader I tend to hang around a long time, maybe up to 12 years, and I plan to keep it that way. So keep that cat away from MY tank or there'll be lots of little fish bites to nurse.

I am a unique little reptile. My skin can change colors for many reasons; my emotions, the temperature, and the amount of light available, but it is a common misconception that it changes color based on my surroundings. The brighter my color, the more attractive I am (sorry, I'm cute and I know it... and you know it too!). My tail is great for wrapping around the branches of trees and bushes to steady myself as I wander throughout the rainforests and savannas I live in, but if you don't mind, I can also wrap it around your heart and be your forever friend.

Pounce!!!!! I got you bug! I’m going to grow up to be a great hunter! All birds, lizards, and eggs better watch out for me! For now, my dad says to start small, like with bugs. He also tells me not to play with my food…I can’t help it though! Look at that cute little beetle! I’d rather play hide and seek with him, than eat him. It’s hard for me to EAT the bugs I play with, so I let my parents find me dinner for now. I’m already great at pouncing, so I know I’ll be a good hunter! Are you ready bug? It’s my turn to hide! Ever since she was a hatchling, the milk chocolate turtle aspired to make her world a more beautiful place. The pond she grew up in was fringed with green sedges and towering brown cattails, framed with birch and aspen trees. The verdant landscape was sketched again in the pond’s clear crystal waters, so the little turtle didn’t know how she could improve a world that was already so beautiful.

Inspiration came one day when a radiant rainbow arched over the pond. The young turtle realized that, although her pond was beautiful, it lacked the splendid colours she saw in the sky. Armed with a new sense of purpose, she crawled across the landscape in search of ways to bring colour to the pond. After many long, arduous treks, she returned with seeds and bulbs for pink and yellow water lilies, blue flag irises, and orange wood lilies, which she planted and tended with care. In time, the pond exploded with a panoply of colour that rivaled even the rainbow, and themilk chocolate turtle was filled with joy as she gazed upon a world that she had made more beautiful.

Am I white with black coloring? Or black with white coloring? I think I’m white with black spots, since I have gorgeous black eye shadow all around my eyes. I’m native to China, and cute as can be! I love to eat bamboo, which makes up 99% of my diet. Unlike other bears, I do not hibernate. Instead, I climb down to lower territory for warmth. The spookiest night of the year has arrived. The pets in Petland have been making their costumes in anticipation of taking to the streets and knocking on doors, hoping to fill their bags with sweet candy treats.

Bear is quite fond of frogs and spends hours watching them in the pond, which inspired Bear to dress up as a frog for Halloween. Bear has been practicing different croaks—with Bear’s low voice, a croak was not too hard to mimic— and though it made their throat a bit dry and sore, Bear is sure they sound just like a frog. Bear is dressed in the frog costume and likes the eyes and how they bobble. Bear is confident they will be a hit amongst all the trick-or-treaters.

Sky Trolls live on top of the clouds. They can only be visited by pets who can fly or climb beanstalks, and aren't afraid of monsters, so they are little known. Whether they are really trolls, ogres or common-or-garden giants, nobody has yet decided. Many things about them remain unknown. Such as, where do they go when it's sunny? And if you're being rained on, is that really rain or a Sky Troll taking a shower? And, who makes tin hats for them? Are they warlike, or just trying to stop Google from profiling them? Who makes those enormous tea towels they wear? Do they fasten with a safety pin, or are they held up by the comics code? These and other mysteries will no doubt be revealed when you write your own story about them!

Scratching tirelessly for tasty treats in the dirt can be tiresome but it’s such a bonus when I grab some up! And there is always the smorgasbord of delicious seeds and nuts in the neighborhood feeders when pickings get slim. And they’re a great place to meet a date, particularly when you’re cheep!
