The most heavenly fragrance wafts through the air as the lilac trees burst forth in a profusion of lavender loveliness. While many different hues of purple are the most common colors for the beloved lilac tree, it also comes in shades of pink, magenta, white, and even pale yellow. The most exotic looking lilac is called Sensation Lilac and is a vivid shade of purple edged in white.

Guardian of the rugged coastline, when the purple, starry night falls I stand in solitude in this desolate location and keep my watch and ward. I beam welcome tidings to mariners of their nearness to home and help them navigate a safe landing through stormy water, hazardous rocks and shoals. Grab your spelunking gear and come on down to explore the wonders under your feet. There are many types of caves, all over the world to enjoy. When down there, you may find stalactites (which “grow” from the ceiling of the cave) or stalagmites (which “grow” from the ground). Diamonds, a PnFer’s best friend, are mined on every continent. Gems and Gold are also found in caves, along with coal, which you’ll find in your stocking if you’re naughty. Caverns are also home to a variety of animals you won’t find in any other habitat. And, if you don’t have the needed gear, you might be able to get Merry Mole to loan you some of his!

In the dark of night, in deepest dreams, your pet meets up with these tiny beings. They dance and shimmer, shine and spark, and bring delight to your pet's heart. When your pet wakes to face the day, their memory doesn't fade away. Indeed, the hope that they impart turns tears to joy and mends the heart.

The chill in the air and the hush of slumbering birds tell you that the cloak of evening has covered the mountains, but the light outside is unsettling and surreal. When the moon is full and at its perigee, it shines with an unearthly brightness at alpine altitudes. Let the scents of pine and rhododendron flowers embrace you as read a paper book by moonlight. Hike down the illumed trail to the cascading mountain stream and observe rarely seen nocturnal animals as they feed and play. Sleep can wait because most people would consider themselves blessed to experience a magical night like this even once in their lives.
