Long ago now, there lived a farmer, his wife, and their three daughters. The farmer loved his daughters, “the sisters” they were called, but their constant bickering was a thorn in his side. The only way the father could content them all at once was to bring them stargazing late at night, assuring them the stars would hide if they could not quiet their endless picking. It was during once such night, under cover of countless glittering stars and twinkling planets that the farmer and his daughters beheld a sight which would forever change their outlook. A trio of crystallized comets making their once-in-a-lifetime appearance, each as beautiful as the next, each as unique as the other. To pick a favorite would be impossible. The farmer, who it turns out, was named the official discoverer of the celestial treasures, could name the comets. During his speech, before millions worldwide, he announced their names as Rose, Hyacinth, and Daffodil, the Crystalline Sisters Comets, so named for his own daughters, for each of whom his love knew no bounds. The sisters ceased their bickering right then and there and became the best of friends, filling the farmer’s home forever more with cheerful songs and memories.

August Rodante, PnF's famous sculptor, has created a fun-loving statue of a favorite childhood pasttime. Well, sort of. As the story goes, three froclicking froggies were playing leap-frog in the back yard and one of them decided to get a little silly and plopped onto the frog in front of him instead of hopping over him. The third little froggy thought it looked like fun, so she jumped extra high, and giggled as she landed. But since frogs can be a little slippery, she almost lost her balance and slid off. The middle froggy got a bit annoyed as he ended up with a frog foot squashing his eyeball. Oops! Be careful when having fun!
