The vibrant iridescent facets of this jewel are alluring to all pets, yet the origin of this mysterious gemstone is unclear. Many rumours have spread, yet one detail runs the same through them all - this jewel came to us from the stars beyond.

Behold a rare and precious blue kyanite solitaire crystal, found in PnF’s first ever quest! For but a brief time, kyanite solitaire crystals were scattered along the path to Trilliant Island by the Blue Cave Guardian, and happy were the Pets that journeyed forth and found a cache of these rare and precious gems!

Recent visitors from far away planets in Outerspace have brought with them many gifts, included, are wondrous gems that glow with inner light and float above the ground. PnF Petland has many fine gems found locally, but never have the resident pets seen gems quite like these.

The Floating Crystal gems are not buried deep in dark caves; they are found at the center of crystal plants. The crystal plants are rare and can be found hidden amongst flowers, in fields, and in flower gardens. When the plant has matured, a gem appears in the center of the crystal flower. The gem absorbs the light from the sun—that shines above the planet—and once the gem is fully grown, it rises up from the flower and hovers above it. Our Outerpsace visitors use these gems to give a soft light in their homes and power household devices. The gems never lose their power, making them excellent for the environment. It must be a beautiful sight to see a soft glow emitting from a patch of flowers.

The rarest of the rare Crystal gems is the Diamond which is not found in a field of flowers. The alien visitors told us they travel far up steep mountains hoping to find the rare flower it grows in. It is a small flower that is very easy to overlook—it may be growing out of a crevice in a rock. This Diamond gem is said to have more power than any other gem and can even power a spaceship.

Like the diamond, the peridot grows deepest in PnF’s vast lands and is only brought to the surface for discovery by the rumbling, rolling, shifting plates below, jolted by underground volcanic activity. Peridots are mainly found on a very tiny, out of the way island, by the name of Peridota. Prized and coveted, it’s no wonder such a fierce beauty would claim the gem as her own. Will you?
