Lots of opportunity to escape from the hot sun here in this swampy area. During the rainy season, the swamp is much cleaner and deeper. Come hop in the water to cool off, or plop down under a tree for some shade. Either way, you must get out of the sun!

The desert may be unbearably hot during the day, but it can be positively chilly at night. Put on a nice warm fleece and go exploring - this is the best time to see the desert.

Ohhh, look at all those colorful shiny pebbles! I must have them all for my collection. They are so mesmerizingly beautiful! Wait, what's that sound? *Ackh, ackh.* Is there something out there? Never mind, stop imagining things and finish gathering these pebbles. *Swoosh* Oh no, what was that?? I'd better hurry up and quickly get out of here! There, I think I found them all; now to go back to my warm, little home and admire my new treasures. Wait... I don't remember the way out... Help!!... I'm scared!! *Ackh, Ackh." After a candlelight supper in a fine French restaurant and a moonlight cruise down the Siene, you walk towards the Eiffel Tower with your beloved. You gaze into each other’s eyes, hold each other close, and whisper, “Je t’aime. Je t’aime.”

For they know only too well, that the majestic mountaintop birds of prey have been silently waiting, and are ready to catch the first updrafts of the day…

The water gently rustles under a thin sheet of ice covering the lake. Snow is thick on the mountains and rests gently on the lake. All is silent except for the trickling of water you hear in the distance. Not even the birds are chirping, as they are only just beginning to wake up from the winter freeze. The ground is free of white cotton snow, yet hard under your feet from the crisp temperature. It is always chilly here in the mountains, yet the animals are glad that spring is coming. The Yeti watches from high up on the mountain, wondering how much longer it will be until he can swim. He likes to swim almost as much as he likes to dance. But for now, he will be patient and sit silently enjoying the sound of the lake slowly coming back to life.

As dawn breaks over the mountain ridge, wind buffets the peaks, swirling powdery snow into the air. As the wind whistles through crevices and cracks in the ice, time appears to have been frozen on this desolate and lonely ridge, as nothing grows and not a single creature stirs…
