"Hey! It's Captain Crusher the Abominable Sonoman! Everyone, attention!" said Police Poodle Doodle.
Hello everyone, thank you for your attention, I wanted to bring to light the new crime spree that's going to need investigating. The shopping centers are being flooded with counterfeit goods and designer knockoffs. Get your sleuthing skills out and let's get moving! said Crusher the Abominable Sonoman.

Crusher the Abominable Sonoman is questing! Episode 2/25

Grabbing Sgt. Maisy Moo, Doodle Poodle grabbed up an umbrella trying to keep Crusher the Abominable Sonoman and himself dry. Crusher the Abominable Sonoman read the detective crew in on some finer points of the counterfeits, and suggested they might like some help. Crusher the Abominable Sonoman said that the reporters got a hold of the story and have splashed it on all the news outlets, so the perps might be pulling up stakes and moving on, so they need to work quickly!

Doodle Poodle and one of the victims of the designer imposter ring, Sarah Mousse, will be working with Sgt. Maisy Moo to identify the clerk who talked her into buying the "great deal".

Crusher the Abominable Sonoman is questing! Episode 4/25

Doodle, not the sharpest pup on the force, actually came up with a grand idea, of looking in the PetFashion Magazines, so that the team recognizes the actual products, making the fakes easier to spot. Maisy was amazed! Doodle asked if after they were done with the magazine if he could have it for the little "fire hydrant" room. Sarah face pawed and rolled her eyes.

The team got talking to the flamboyant parking attendant, L-ton, and realized they know more about fashion and designers than the team would ever be able to glean from reading magazines. L-ton suggested hitting up the food court for some noshes before shopping! Ordering a ginormous ice cream Sundae instead of "real" food, the crew opted for a healthy choice.

Doodle, using a fashion page advertising high end handbags, sauntered up to the nearest tree, while the crew on the advice of L-ton, and hopped into their convertible for a spin around town. Maisy and Sarah aren't sure exactly why they are leaving the mall, but L-ton's vivacious energy got them all excited about this case!

Sgt. Maisy Moo, trying on the lovely Cow-tier, is amazed at how her eyes sparkle and shine with these heavy jewels dangling from her ears and neck. L-ton points out that these are paste, that Cow-tier never puts the genuine gems out for public, and Sarah points out that she's ok with paste when it comes to these. She doesn't see any familiar faces, so the team must keep shopping!

L-ton took the detective crew to the clothing shop Give-inchy, where even the clothes on the "clearance" rack are incredible, amazing and gorgeous, and more expensive than Sgt. Maisy Moo makes in a week! But L-ton, with sharp eyes, spots a few counterfeit blouses and suggests that they take them for evidence. Doodle Poodle, giving up one of his "special collection" bags, tags them as evidence, and sends them off to be analyzed for hair, DNA or any other evidence that will lead them to the perps.

OOH, L-ton! Those Fosster Grants look uh-maz-ing on you! cried Maisy!
"Dah-ling, of course they do! These are the real deal! But those, with the blue lens, those are knockoffs! Oh, and the ones with the yellow! Be sure to bag and tag those, and send them off to evidence". Doodle, not returned yet from running the blouses to the lab, had Sarah carry the evidence.

L-ton thought the crew should check the back storeroom, and Maisy and the rest trusted them to know the real deals, hung out in the mall concourse watching for shady looking pets.

Crusher the Abominable Sonoman is questing! Episode 11/25

Pebbles and the Gravel, putting on a concert in the food court, were excited to see L-ton roll out his portable keyboard, and join in for a haunting rendition of their greatest hit, "Meet me in the Mall". Sgt. Maisy was happy to grab up the sax and blow a mean solo, while Doodle Poodle howled the high notes and Sarah strung some strings. Good thing they aren't punching a time clock!

L-ton has boundless energy, Maisy and Sarah, not so much, and catch a quick cow-nap, while L-ton asked Doodle if he can smell differences in the paints on these gallery canvases. Doodle, taking pride in his sniffing skills, wanders around the gallery and gives a sharp yip every time the paints smell new, rather than the old pigments the Masters used. L-ton and Doodle found 4 fakes, which Doodle took directly to the Police Station where Crusher the Abominable Sonoman was waiting for progress notes.

Lounge suites and more! Who wouldn't want to inspect (and nap!) designer furniture?
A Chesterfield impersonation (2 seater plus 3 seater) is hugely comfortable, with a good warranty, and VERY affordable. Pseudo swede (polyester) modular curved 7-seater corner suite, that was super comfortable with good lumbar support (especially on the electronic recliner end seats). Or many other other 3 seaters - recliners - fake suede material - good quality leather - rocking chair - tables - sets of 3 cushions, or 2 - picture frames - lamps -------

Do not forget to carry a tape measure, warns L-ton, as you don't want to get your new sectional home to find it doesn't fit in the living room! Doodle, after taking some weight off, can't wait to jump on the furniture and nap! All this sleuting is, well, actual work!

Hey, L-ton, do people really counterfeit wine? asked Sarah.
"Whoo, girl! You are a HOOT! Of course not, but let's pretend, and sample the barrels just for fun!"
Sarah laughed and grabbed a goblet to taste, sipping and swirling like a real sommelier. Maisy took a pass on the wine, it's not good for her milk production. L-ton realized in the reflection in their sunglasses that they have a fan following them!

"Uh, L-ton, what..what..are we doing down here in the dark?" stammered Doodle, not a fan of the dark.
"We're looking for clues, of course, silly! People who are engaging in illegal activities don't do it in broad daylight in front of anyone who wanders in! Are you sure you went to the Police Academy?" L-ton realizes that Doodle Poodle is a bit of an airhead. "Besides, I found a clue! Let's see where it leads!"

"What is this place you've taken us to Sgt. Maisy Moo? Is this a joke? Look at my paws! They've got dirt on them! I am going to faint! And where are my amenities? Running water! How is glamping a thing? I want my posh hotels! Room service!" Yelled Doodle. And L-ton finally realized they have something in common with Doodle!
"Why. look here! This cute little squirrel is catching our breakfast right out of the creek! You'll love this once you get the hang of it!" replied Maisy.
Sarah, watching from her high post, is ready to get back to the case, this police work is turning out to be a great and grand adventure!

Taking the scenic route back to the shopping center, L-ton dropped the rest of the gang off at the entrance, while they took a few extra laps around the parking lot, showing off the Pink Caddy convertible, with crushed velvet seats! Who's that riding in the back?

GULP!! Sarah remembered one of the workers mentioned something about the handbags being stored in the old access tunnels under the mall, left over from the old days of air raid shelters. Shining her light, she caught several eyes peering back at her! Leading the group, they found some more clues, but not the hideout yet!

Sgt. Maisy Moo took a phone call from Crusher the Abominable Sonoman, who's turning up the heat on this case, letting the group of detectives know that the media is ramping up coverage on the cases, as more and more shoppers are being duped by fakes! Maisy, sure that they are right on track to crack this case wide open, assures Crusher the Abominable Sonoman that they will be done soon! They don't want to move too quickly and drive the thieves underground or to set up shop in a new town!

While off checking out the strip mall restrooms, Doodle came across a bag of money! Just like winning the lottery! Maisy points out that as a member of the Police dept, that Doodle needs to turn in that bag of money, but Doodle is muttering something about 'finders keepers losers weepers'...
Meanwhile, L-ton grabs a cuppa Joe, wandering around window shopping. Maisy, it seems, has made a new friend with some 'designer' handbags. Posing as a regular customer, she buys some bags and immediatey sends them off for analysis at the lab. Sarah said that spider looked really familiar!

While L-ton was contemplating life, sipping their latte, they heard a noise that sounded like a printing press! Following their sharp ears, and motioning for the group to follow, they discover that poor Moley is being held captive! And what's that he's making? Counterfeit Platinum Paws! Oh noes! But Sgt. Moo puts her detective thoughts on and motions for the group to quickly and quietly move away, they need to capture the mastermind of the crime ring! Moley doesn't look any worse for the wear....He loves money, even if it is fake!

Stocking up at the grocery kiosk, Doodle reminds everyone to be careful when swiping their debit or credit cards! Sarah had her secret PIN number stolen once, (apparently she's an easy mark!) and it was no fun! Be sure to shield your PINS, pets!

Crusher the Abominable Sonoman is questing! Episode 23/25

Sgt. Maisy Moo needed to be milked, and Sarah was kind enough to help her out. Buckets and buckets of Silver Moles came out, and L-ton thought it would be fun to "swim" in a bucket, bathing in the clink of currency! While Maisy was ruminating over the case, she's pretty sure she's figured out the Kingpin of the crime! Good thing, because Crusher the Abominable Sonoman showed up for a debriefing!

Crusher the Abominable Sonoman joins Sgt. Moo for the final leg of the case, who can it be!? L-ton and Sarah were hoping to be given a taser to help capture the Godfather of Counterfeiters, but alas, they were asked to stand by!
After a huge commotion in the backroom, Crusher the Abominable Sonoman emerged with Doodle Poodle and the Crime King!

Crusher the Abominable Sonoman is questing! Episode 25/25

How did you figure the crime out? asked Sarah. "It was elementary, my dear!" replied Sgt. Maisy Moo. "I followed the clues, read the reports and realized we were being followed. And I thought it looked like Dawn Coreleeon, and sent some trace evidence to the lab, who confirmed it! So it was a matter of finding her lair and arresting her!"
Doodle and L-ton are excited to be rolling around in a pink caddy, tossing out some of the 20 Golden Moles that L-ton got for helping solve the case.
Why does the car look white? I thought it was pink? asked Sarah. "It's just like that dress on the interwebs a while ago, it depends on what light you look at it under" replied Maisy.
Crusher the Abominable Sonoman said it was a great job by everyone, but it was time for everyone to head home, change pets and start a new adventure!
