Beatrice sighed heavily. "A piano played by an orangutan?" she hazarded.
Ruby Kye looked miffed. "It's a zebra with a drum!"
Beatrice was unimpressed. "How would a zebra play a drum? A piano is a much better answer," she said curtly.
Foggy Valley
An atmospheric picture of a tree lined valley filled with evening fog, lying thick in some places but thinning in others, evokes a feeling of gloom and foreboding. Let's hope the morning sun will dispel the fog and make it a happier place!

"Wow!" exclaimed Ruby Kye. "It says in the tour guide that in Ancient Rome, the wealthy wore black and white, with red. Blue was considered the colour of the working class; it was associated with barbarians and used to frighten enemies."

"It has a name! It's known as "Eigengrau. It's a German word meaning 'intrinsic grey'".

With its high, arched windows, ornate chandeliers, and musicians tuning up their instruments ready for the formal dancing to start, men in formal tailcoats and the ladies in graceful, long dresses, it would be the start of a gorgeous and convivial evening!

Here we have a splendid black-and-white Dutch guinea pig and a self-coloured black, meaning it is black all over. Guinea pigs are herd animals and must have companionship of their own kind. A guinea pig should never be kept on its own.
