While Cardamom was busy snapping photos, Paddy wandered off to find a suitable bush, as there was a decided lack of amenities in the immediate area!

Cardamom gazed around in awe, while Felix mumbled and grumbled about Cardamom's shortcut being no shortcut at all, if the blisters on his paws were anything to go by!

While Cardamom thinks the scenery is lovely, it wonders where Paddy intends to set up camp?

The poppy can have many symbolic meanings in different cultures, for example, restful sleep and recovery. For others, it is a cheery harbinger of summer because of its size and intense colors. On this island there is a huge swathe of red poppies, providing a feast for the eyes and senses.

Arriving at such a wonderful location spurred Cardamom on to keep on trekking. However Tressla sat down, refusing to budge, complaining of blisters on her paws...

After months of planning, Cardamom and WhoButtons finally agreed on where they would travel together, and they are both secretly please with their choice!

Did you know that some varieties of sunflower can grow up to 15 feet high and 12 inches across their happy faces? The pets will find out whether these sunflowers are of that variety when they come across them on Le Mystère.

@ Island: L'île Mystère
Cardamom finally makes it back to the landing stage, where Dreamer is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! Cardamom pockets a map of L'île Mystère as a momento. The guidebook says:

What an adventure this island will prove to be! There are opportunities for rambling up hill and down dale, and splendid views across lakes and mountains. There are fields of aromatic and colourful flowers. At one point in their exploration the pets will meet a huge reptile but rest assured—it will do no harm! Bon voyage!
