Cardamom and Silver are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground South
Roll up! Roll up! After sunset the fairground is transformed into a glittering arena of swirling lights, with a backdrop of squawks, yelps and howls from pets clinging on for dear life to the scary rollercoaster and whirling round on the fluorescently lit big wheel! The best view is of course from the top, so c'mon, everypet, and have the experience of your life! For pets preferring a gentler ride, hold on tightly to the reins while our carousel horses look after you on a circular journey under a blue starry canopy. Then it's time to indulge in candy, popcorn, gingerbread and pumpkin pie made from the fall harvest! Hopefully everypet will have enough silver moles left to buy a magnificent helium balloon to take home ...

"You get a marvellous view from the top of this ride, don't you, Cardamom?" said Graham idly. "Look, isn't that the windmill in the purple rea- —AARGGHH! AAARRGGGHHHH! OH-H-H-H! MAAAAAKE I-I-I-T STO-O-O-O-O-O-OP! AAARRGGGHHHH! STOP L-L-LAUGHING, YOU H-H-HORRIBLE CREATURE!"

Hero and Cardamom were choosing a drink to go with their food when there was suddenly an almighty SPLASH! from the waterslide and they were hit by flying droplets from the pool!

Spirit hesitated as she and Cardamom approached the next ride. "I don't know, Cardamom, it makes me feel a bit scared!"
"Would you say it was on a par with coming face-to-face with those wolves suddenly in the Labyrinth?" asked Cardamom cheerfully. "Look, you don't have to do it if you don't want; you can watch me go round and then decide."
