Belle and PIP now know where to find Fantastic Buildings, as they have been given a free map! Before unfolding it, they read the cover:

What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!
Artists Quarter
There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
“Everything is always darkest just before the dawn,” intoned Joonie.
“It must be very near dawn now, then!" said Belle.

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

@ Curbside Pickup
“We could go on a hunt for glow-worms, perhaps!” said Belle to Flutter. "I've never seen one."
“Hmm, I can see us getting lost in the woods and missing breakfast. I'm famished already!" responded Flutter.

Throw a paw in the air and hail a cab from the curbside, it's better than standing in the rain, getting wet! Or if not a there's always the bus stop!

@ Cobblestone Court
“If we stayed up long enough, we could catch the sunrise, Belle,” said Choose a name.
“Gosh, I don't know about that, Choose a name! It would be amazing but I'm not sure if I could keep my eyes open long enough!"

Worn from years of travel, the old courtyard cobbles silently sit and watch as pets pad on by, listening through the centuries all the stories being told. Why the stories they could tell, if only someone asked.

“Was that the call of a nightjar, Belle?” whispered Night Wing. "We're not usually up when they're out and about!"

@ Weary Way Inn
“If we stayed up long enough, we could catch the sunrise, Belle,” said Misty Anne.
“Gosh, I don't know about that, Misty Anne! It would be amazing but I'm not sure if I could keep my eyes open long enough!"

@ Cathedral at Dusk
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Belle!” said mucki. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Belle good-naturedly took charge of mucki's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Belle helped her put everything back in her rucksack.
Cathedral at Dusk
The golden sun dipped slowly below the horizon, showering the travelers in its warm glow, inviting everyone to enjoy the splendor.

@ Clock Tower
“Hey, Belle, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Belle shook paws with Whizz. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" she said.

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Belle is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when Heleena comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Heleena. Belle looks down and sees something valuable. Heleena generously lets Belle keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

@ Winter Carnival
“It's a lot darker than it was in the Labyrinth that time, isn't it, Belle?” remarked Mitchell, a little nervously.
“At least we shouldn't encounter any scorpions!" replied Belle.

Astrid studied the sky above. “We could take this opportunity to do a little star-gazing, couldn't we, Belle?”
“Well, that's an interesting hobby, yes," replied Belle. "Look, is that the Bovinus constellation up there, Astrid?"

Andrew was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Belle unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which she succeeded in knocking Andrew’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Andrew. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

A desert highway, stretching beyond the horizon, beckons the adventurer to explore what lies beyond.

@ City by the Sea

Belle shook paws with Nemo. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" she said.
City by the Sea
Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

@ Foggy Dawn
Belle and Casper agreed that the variety of environments on their expedition was the best ever! Belle and Casper exchanged opinions on which their favourite attraction had been so far!

“What have you got in your tote bag, Munich?” asked Belle. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, Belle,” responded Munich. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”

Belle is admiring some Fantastic Buildings when Schnupfen comes along. "Look! Another special prize!" says Schnupfen. Belle looks down and sees it. Schnupfen generously lets Belle keep it!

Charming black street lights illuminate the street as you stroll home from your errands and visiting.

No matter where anypet travels, there's always an Exit that needs taken, and wonder if the GPS actually is going take you to the right place.

Belle shook paws with Chewbie. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" she said.

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

“Don't worry, Arthur," said Belle. "We're going to stick in this group as we go round so it's quite safe."

While Belle paused to drink in the view, Tester 3 started scrabbling in her rucksack for her portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Tester 3?” asked Belle. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

Belle is considering the merits of another Fantastic Building when Autumn Fall comes along. "Wow! That completes the set!" says Autumn Fall. Belle is amazed to have collected all three items!

Belle has seen enough buildings to plan her own town, and is tired out. ✯ƒaεяy∂aε✯☽☆☾✯ agrees it is time to go home and discuss which building they would most like to live in!
