What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!
Artists Quarter
There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
"You know, the settings on your camera have to be different for a night scene," remarked Digger.
"I suppose this tour is a good opportunity to learn all about that, Digger!" said Choose a namebecky.

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

“If we stayed up long enough, we could catch the sunrise, Digger,” said Pingu.
“Gosh, I don't know about that, Pingu! It would be amazing but I'm not sure if I could keep my eyes open long enough!"

Astrid was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Digger unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which he succeeded in knocking Astrid’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Astrid. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”
Cobblestone Court
Worn from years of travel, the old courtyard cobbles silently sit and watch as pets pad on by, listening through the centuries all the stories being told. Why the stories they could tell, if only someone asked.

@ City Scapes
Digger and T.C. were entranced at reaching this stopping place and eagerly posed for a picture standing on either side of the new attraction they had just seen!

Like a sea of lava, heading to the ocean, so is the sea of pets traveling in the big city, on a river of light.

@ Weary Way Inn
"There's something magical about watching rivers at night-time, isn't there, Beast?" said Digger dreamily.
"I'm going to try and capture the look of the moonlight on the water," said Beast.

“Was that the call of a nightjar, Digger?” whispered DAISY. "We're not usually up when they're out and about!"

“I think my torch is going flat,” said Sassy, shaking it worriedly.
“Don't worry, Sassy," said Digger. "We're going to stick in this group as we go round so it's quite safe."

@ The 1950s?
Digger is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when VV comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says VV. Digger looks down and sees something valuable. VV generously lets Digger keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

@ Winter Carnival
“Hey, Digger, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Digger shook paws with W Axl Fox. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" he said.

“We could go on a hunt for glow-worms, perhaps!” said Digger to Kaley. "I've never seen one."
“Hmm, I can see us getting lost in the woods and missing breakfast. I'm famished already!" responded Kaley.

“I'm enjoying the tour very much but it's getting quite cold, isn't it, Digger?” shivered Butterfree.
“Here, wrap my scarf around yourself," replied Digger. "And you can look forward to a lovely mug of hot chocolate when we get back to our accommodation!"

"Wasn’t it worth coming all this way, Digger," said Triple Shot, "for this experience alone?" Digger, admiring the scene they were now in, heartily agreed!

Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

@ Foggy Dawn
“Everything is always darkest just before the dawn,” intoned Alex.
“It must be very near dawn now, then!" said Digger.

Digger gazed upwards. "I just saw some bats flying over there, matty! It's not often you see those!"

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

@ Elegant City Towers
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Digger!” said Mrs. Dylan. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Digger good-naturedly took charge of Mrs. Dylan's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Digger helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

Digger is considering the merits of another Fantastic Building when Foxy Sir comes along. "Wow! That completes the set!" says Foxy Sir. Digger is amazed to have collected all three items!

Digger has seen enough buildings to plan his own town, and is tired out. Mauvey agrees it is time to go home and discuss which building they would most like to live in!
