What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!

There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
While Mr P paused to drink in the view, Supahfly started scrabbling in his rucksack for his portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Supahfly?” asked Mr P. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

“Was that the call of a nightjar, Mr P?” whispered Julius. "We're not usually up when they're out and about!"

@ Cobblestone Court
Maybelle was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Mr P unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which he succeeded in knocking Maybelle’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Maybelle. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

Worn from years of travel, the old courtyard cobbles silently sit and watch as pets pad on by, listening through the centuries all the stories being told. Why the stories they could tell, if only someone asked.

@ City Scapes
"There's something magical about watching rivers at night-time, isn't there, Firefly?" said Mr P dreamily.
"I'm going to try and capture the look of the moonlight on the water," said Firefly.

Like a sea of lava, heading to the ocean, so is the sea of pets traveling in the big city, on a river of light.

@ Weary Way Inn
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Mr P!” said Trish. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Mr P good-naturedly took charge of Trish's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Mr P helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

@ Cathedral at Dusk
Mr P and Crocodile Beauty were entranced at reaching this stopping place and eagerly posed for a picture standing on either side of the new attraction they had just seen!

The golden sun dipped slowly below the horizon, showering the travelers in its warm glow, inviting everyone to enjoy the splendor.

@ Clock Tower
“I think my torch is going flat,” said Midnight, shaking it worriedly.
“Don't worry, Midnight," said Mr P. "We're going to stick in this group as we go round so it's quite safe."

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Mr P is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when Earth Angel comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Earth Angel. Mr P looks down and sees something valuable. Earth Angel generously lets Mr P keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

@ Winter Carnival
“If we stayed up long enough, we could catch the sunrise, Mr P,” said Enty.
“Gosh, I don't know about that, Enty! It would be amazing but I'm not sure if I could keep my eyes open long enough!"

“Hey, Mr P, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Mr P shook paws with Blue Fire. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" he said.

“I'm enjoying the tour very much but it's getting quite cold, isn't it, Mr P?” shivered Donna.
“Here, wrap my scarf around yourself," replied Mr P. "And you can look forward to a lovely mug of hot chocolate when we get back to our accommodation!"

“What have you got in your tote bag, Tickety-Boo?” asked Mr P. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, Mr P,” responded Tickety-Boo. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”
City by the Sea
Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

“If we stayed up long enough, we could catch the sunrise, Mr P,” said Jaylee.
“Gosh, I don't know about that, Jaylee! It would be amazing but I'm not sure if I could keep my eyes open long enough!"

Mr P is admiring some Fantastic Buildings when Hershel comes along. "Look! Another special prize!" says Hershel. Mr P looks down and sees it. Hershel generously lets Mr P keep it!

Mr P opened his rucksack to change his hat. Punky could see Mr P had a large, floppy sunhat, a balaclava, a rain hat, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a swimming cap! “Did you bring a fez too?” Punky asked Mr P.

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

Mr P is considering the merits of another Fantastic Building when Garth comes along. "Wow! That completes the set!" says Garth. Mr P is amazed to have collected all three items!

Mr P has seen enough buildings to plan his own town, and is tired out. Koo agrees it is time to go home and discuss which building they would most like to live in!
