Mouse was a little early arriving at J&P's Bar, as the only other guest was Li'l Aussie Digger! Undeterred, they each ordered a Puddle's Love Potion to celebrate St Valentine's Day together (albeit a little late), wondering why there was no music playing...?

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 2/25

When Jay informed Li'l Aussie Digger and Mouse that the music had died in 1959, Mouse started thinking about ways to bring the music back to J&Ps and to the whole of PnF Land!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 3/25

Jay gave the key to J&Ps old storeroom to Li'l Aussie Digger and Mouse, and they quickly retrieved a swag of musty old musical instruments, including a musty old lead vocalist, all of which they dusted off and set about testing and tuning!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 4/25

Hearing the discordant cacophony emanating from J&Ps, Phats Waller decided to come and offer Li'l Aussie Digger and Mouse the services of her trusty toy tuba! And no sooner had a band begun forming when scouts from JP and the Barflies Talent Agency showed up to offer the whole band a road trip!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 5/25

As Li'l Aussie Digger, Mouse, Phats and their lead vocalist begin preparing for their road trip, the talent scout asks them what the band is called? All of the pets looked bemused, until Jay asked the bar guests for help. Dana piped up with "Jay-el House Rock"! Li'l Aussie Digger actually preferred Gail's suggestion of "The Hiccups", Dorothy's suggestion of "Drunken Birds" or An's suggestion of "On the Rocks", but appreciated that none of these alternatives seemed quite as dignified as "Jay-el House Rock", so "Jay-el House Rock" stuck!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 6/25

With Li'l Aussie Digger safely stowed in the trunk... ehrm the car trunk that is, not Phat's trunk... the team hits the road to begin their concert tour, with the radio blaring the PnF Top 40 at full volume. "Shhhh," hushes Mouse, as his little heart skips a beat when he hears a melodic chirping coming from somewhere in a tree as they pass by!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 7/25

After a long day on the road, our intrepid travellers pull into Paris, the city of romance! After such a long drive, Mouse is so tired he not sure if he is daydreaming or just plain dreaming about the gorgeous creature with the melodic voice...?

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 8/25

After a brief nap, Li'l Aussie Digger is released from the trunk, just in time for Jay-el House Rock to set up in front of the Trifle Tower for their first performance, with Mouse's cousin La Souris joining them on drums!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 9/25

Jay-el House Rock's successful performance in front of the Trifle Tower the night before ensures a sellout crowd at the Pet Rock Cafe the following evening! The proprietor, Sam Turtle, is delighted, as the Pets leave their tables to fill the dance floor. Mouse is also secretly delighted when he spies La Belle Cockatoo listening in (even if she is avoiding paying the cover charge by perching on the cafe roof)!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 10/25

After the concert, Mouse asks Belle to do coffee with him the following day, while the other band members titter among themselves, socially distancing from the love birds, ehrm love pets, just in case this romance business is contagious!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 11/25

Not content to just be groupies, Sam and Belle join Jay-el House Rock's performance that evening, as they take to the streets to try to set a new street dance crowd record for Pets!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 12/25

Before very long, Jay-el House Rock made the cover and the centrefold of The Rolling Pet Magazine! But do not expect to be able to buy one in the Mall, because a little bird told Mouse that Li'l Aussie Digger had purchased every single copy himself!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 13/25

From Gay Paris, Jay-el House Rock charter their own Learjet to travel to a land down under. As Souris has never flown a paper plane before, let alone a learjet, "You better run, you better take cover" (according to the Men at Work)!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 14/25

Upon arrival down under, Jay-el House Rock were given the keys to the city, the keys to the country, and top billing at the opera house, which performance was attended by all of the richest and most shameless pets across the land! They received invitations to perform in all of the cities, towns and the outback, at sea and in the air!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 15/25

Everywhere they performed, Jay-el House Rock attracted huge crowds, with the audience dancing on their seats and in the aisles. Vast expanses of land, sea, road and paddocks was instantly transformed into giant mosh pits, with no one sitting down until the music died!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 16/25

As Jay-el House Rock take a welcome day of rest before departing down under for Asia, there's more than a whiff of romance in the air! Mouse and Belle risk catching cooties by sharing a shake, while Souris is captivated after kissing a kangaroo! Li'l Aussie Digger wonders if this means the band will be needing a new drummer when they move on?

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 17/25

Li'l Aussie Digger was relieved to find a message had been sent ahead that Jay-el House Rock needed a new drummer, and Gringo Starr Panda was already ready and waiting for them! After a brief jam session, the band gelled like a P&J sandwich, as they rocked around the clock - Big in Japan!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 18/25

Jay-el House Rock arrives in The Big Apple, where they are mobbed by their most ardent fan, the musty old vocalist's cousin Kitty, who is also a drummer of note! "Everypet wants to be a star," sighs the long suffering Li'l Aussie Digger from the spacious trunk of their cadillac!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 19/25

While the Li'l Aussie Digger and the rest of the band were busy jamming with the musty old vocalist's cousin Kitty, familiarising her with Jay-el House Rock's playlist, Mouse and Belle snuck off for their daily Valentine's month celebration, in Petral Park. The lovestruck duo gazed into one another's eyes, making their own beautiful music together!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 20/25

"Viva Las Vegas!", squarked Belle, as the musty old vocalist bashed her on the noggin with his wildly swinging git-ar, and the energised fans pressed up against the stage. Li'l Aussie Digger scratches his head in concern, hoping that Belle doesn't get her feathers too ruffled if she attempts crowd surfing!

Jay-el House Rock returned to Soho, with a gig in the famous Cellar Bar! The proprietor (aka the junk yard dog) tuned in with his trusty accordion, making the wine casks all shake, rattle and roll in competition with the fans!

Li'l Aussie Digger is questing! Episode 22/25

As their first tour began to draw to a close, Li'l Aussie Digger (relegated to the cargo hold) and the band members all reflected on the outstanding success of their first roadshow, looking forward to some down time once they finally land!

Upon their return home, Jay-el House Rock were handed the keys to the Old Bailey by the town mayor, but for some reason declined the guided tour they were offered prior to fronting the press for interviews and autographs...?

Li'l Aussie Digger and Jay-el House Rock really ham it up for their final performance together, before Phats accompanies Li'l Aussie Digger home to J&P's Bar, lured by Jay's promise of a long cold one or three!

Li'l Aussie Digger and Jay-el House Rock had finally returned to their point of origin, J&P's Cocktail Bar, where Li'l Aussie Digger took up residence on his favourite bar stool and put a pot of gold on the bar, ringing the bell to shout all of the bar members a long refreshing glass of ice water!
