This rocky bay provides the perfect place for anypet to rest, play with the numerous pebbles and watch the changing patterns of sunlight on the stone outcrops and distant peaks, or perhaps to dip a cautious paw into the unceasing sea waves running in and back out.

Archie tumbled out of the tourist bus, flattening Morning Rose in the process, then wondering where the muffled groans were coming from?

Anypet will enjoy exploring the sand dunes with their sharply pointed grey-green leaves and large spikes of creamy-yellow flowers of marram grass in the summer, the backdrop to a sandy beach and the sea.

While Archie was busy snapping photos, Snickerdoodle wandered off to find a suitable bush, as there was a decided lack of amenities in the immediate area!

This beautiful little bay is irresistible to pets who can’t wait to scamper or flap over the golden sand to get to the top of the stony peninsula and gaze far out to the horizon over the sea.

@ Blackfriars Viaduct
While Archie soaked in the view, Mousey was searching his backpack for the bug spray, certain that his fur would be crawling with little biting critters once the sun went down!

A feat of engineering that certainly stands out in the countryside. It’s a place to stop and dream of where the trains thundering past will be going!

Archie looked around the scenery, asking Bill if there was any pet friendly accommodation nearby?

While Archie normally avoids tourist hotspots, he is glad he allowed Daba to bring him here!

Archie was becoming increasingly irritated with the constant clicking and beeping of Abby's camera disturbing the peace and quiet, so Archie moved purposefully on without her!

Archie and MARTIN were so busy gazing at the scenery they almost forgot to finish shaking paws before changeover!

As birds fly home to roost and busy pets retire for the night, the West Pasture in Aegis becomes darker and quiet in the setting sun, waiting for the first stirrings from nocturnal pets who are active during the night.

While Archie was whistling through his teeth as they ambled through another breathtaking scene, Snarky was secretly wishing he had packed ear plugs, or gaffer tape for Archie's mug!

The tranquility of the scene they had stumbled across made Archie and Mittens feel like they were the only pets left in PnF Land...

On Sunday afternoons, many pets take an excursion in the formal gardens, which display the Dutch influence of bright tulips making a fine splash of colour against the immaculate lawn.

@ Island: Aegis
Archie finally makes it back to the landing stage, where Allie Kat is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! Archie pockets a map of Aegis as a momento. The guidebook says:
Island: Aegis
When their vessel carefully manoeuvres past the rocks to reach the landing stage, the pets can jump out and explore this delightful little island. There are beautiful, relaxing sandy beaches, rocky hills to climb, a viaduct and old castle ruin to explore, green pastures to take a picnic hamper, woods and forests to ramble in, rivers to jump over, apples to pick and there are flowers galore!
