Episode 6: Lunar New Year Dress

Get out that little red dress for the Lunar New Year festivities! The colour red is vitally important to Chinese culture, representing fire and energy, vitality, good luck and prosperity. This dress, with its narrow waist and bell shaped skirt, in vivid shades of red embellished with bamboo leaves is the perfect fit for this time! The Festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first lunar month in the Chinese calendar and for the next fortnight visits are made to family and to friends. The visitor will come bearing a small gift to the household, most often citrus fruit, which is said to bring wealth and good fortune. Guests are welcomed with tea and sweet treats served on a round or octagonal tray, symbolising togetherness. Usually the sweets are arranged in amounts divisible by eight as this is a lucky number. The first day of Lunar New Year represents new beginnings with renewed hopes for prosperity and happiness. There is excitement outside provided by Lion and Dragon dances performed in the streets.

Episode 7: The Final Table pays tribute to the great artist, Leonardo da Vinci. Using all God's creatures, solemnly gathering for the final meal with their beloved lion, the viewer is invited to sit and enjoy a repast with the others dining.

Episode 8: At some point, everypet dreams of going up in space, to explore the new lands, and communicate with a new race. However, with all the beauty of asteroids and space dust, one does wonder if they are truly bad or just depicted that way?

Episode 9: pippa takes a moment to appreciate the dramatic character of this next painting, Dark Dreams as Aragosta shares some fascinating facts about it's history.

Episode 10: Rosie’s Follow Your Dream is a whimsical landscape that cleverly uses light to draw viewers into the image, until they can virtually feel the slippery rocks and icy water under their paws, and then feel compelled to move towards the deeper blue water in the distance… pippa feels sure that their hooman will be very pleased with pippa for bringing home such a delightful print of this famous PnF landscape!

Episode 11: Dragon Breath is a stunning artwork by one of PnF's most inspirational artists! pippa and friends visit this artist's My Art Page every day, expecting to be blown away by the clever way in which she uses tiny drinks and decorations to create magical artwork!

Episode 12: "And now for a touch of whimsy," announces Aragosta, directing the attention of pippa and the tour group to this beautiful art created by one of PnF's awesome artists! pippa sighs wistfully, wishing there was a pet fairy available for adoption in PnF...

Episode 13: Ringing in the new year, a celebration and reflection of time that everypet knows signals an underlying hope as well. Hope that the new year brings opportunity, prosperity and peace to their lives. The artist truly created this timeless piece to convey the magic of counting it down, 10.... 9.... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1.....

Episode 14: Teamwork shows everypet that no matter how big or small you are in the great big universe, everypet matters and is able to help someone else. Here you can clearly see that working slowly together, they will persevere and overcome, getting that slug back out of the bottle!

Episode 15: Rose Shantung Dress

This elegant rose-pink dress is made from organic “Peace” shantung, woven from fallen, empty cocoons following completion of the lifecycle of the silkworm. It is a luxurious, textured yet crisp fabric with a wonderful lustre. Further embellishments are provided by crewel-work shoulder straps, delicate lace insets and the whole is brought to vivid life by sparkling baubles in violet and fuchsia. This is the crème de la crème of posh frocks for the fashion-conscious pet with aspirations!

Episode 16: Aragosta presents an interesting example of gothic art to pippa and the group. pippa wonders if this could be a portrait of Count Dracula during his college days? He certainly has the shoulders of a linebacker!

Episode 17: The beauty of fall foliage is displayed here, captivating the Mussee goer with its depth and shimmer, and a little bit of that Halloween creepiness.

Episode 18: pippa is feeling in the pink admiring the elegant form of the bubbly beribboned pink butterfly drink, which the more adventurous little koala is attempting to climb, while his companion stands (or sits) lookout below. Be careful little koala, because that glass could become quite slippery if condensation forms on the outside!

Episode 19: Kirsten’s Rainy Encounter was inspired by a series of oil paintings by RL artist Leonid Afremov. The Rainy Encounter series uses the play of vivid colours reflecting off wet ground and through rain to soften the image and create depth perception. pippa jumps up and down in glee at receiving a print of this beautiful scene, because they really, really want their hooman to make an art with it and put them in it, so they can splash in the puddles and dance in the rain!

Episode 20: Entitled, simply Self Portrait, the wistfulness of the artist's expression evokes a sense of curiosity, felt by pippa and the rest of the tour group. Aragosta explains that there are currently very few miniature portraits in the Musee, but he hopes they will be able to add more to the collection in the future...

Episode 21: Reflection captures the pop of fall colors and begs the viewer to stand very, very still, so as not to startle the gentle creatures relaxing by the water's edge. At the same time, drinking in the passionate colors of the turning leaves.

Episode 22: "The Dancer is a lovely portrayal of the dedication of this young woman, preparing for her first performance," Aragosta explains.
pippa can't help but agree, it is lovely...

Episode 23: Purple Joy is one of Aragosta's favourite works of art in the Musee! Purple Joy was created by one of PnF's finest purveyors of tiny art, so it is hardly surprising that pippa and the whole tour group are mesmerised by the level of detail and the sense of whimsy this piece evokes!

Episode 24: "Birdbath is an exquisite example from one of our most prolific and talented artists here at Musee d’Art de Cannelle!" Aragosta explained, as pippa and the tour group moved in for a closer look. "Such beautiful brushwork! Such attention to detail!" Aragosta cried, waving his claws around enthusiastically.
pippa would love to get a better view, but those lobster claws are getting a little too close for comfort!

Episode 25: After viewing all of the inspiring works in this section of Musee d’Art de Cannelle, pippa is feeling a little sad to have to return to a gourd house that looks exactly the same as every other gourd house in PnF Land, which is not terribly exciting...because if you've seen one gourd house, you've seen them all!

But suddenly pippa stumbles upon a funky house, which looks very similar to one in a Picaso masterpiece....
"A present for me?" asks pippa, hardly daring to hope!
