What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!

There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
“Everything looks so different at night, doesn't it, Betsy?” whispered Miss Chief.
“Well—we can enjoy it in two different ways then. I must say, I'm enjoying our night tour!"

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

“I'm enjoying the tour very much but it's getting quite cold, isn't it, Betsy?” shivered THUMPER.
“Here, wrap my scarf around yourself," replied Betsy. "And you can look forward to a lovely mug of hot chocolate when we get back to our accommodation! "

“At least we shouldn't encounter any scorpions!" replied Betsy.

“At least we shouldn't encounter any scorpions!" replied Betsy.

“Hey, Betsy, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Betsy shook paws with Balthazar. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" she said.

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Betsy is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when WHOOO"S A HOOT comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says WHOOO"S A HOOT. Betsy looks down and sees something valuable. WHOOO"S A HOOT generously lets Betsy keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

“Everything is always darkest just before the dawn,” intoned Cockee.
“It must be very near dawn now, then!" said Betsy.

“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Betsy!” said Hayley. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Betsy good-naturedly took charge of Hayley's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Betsy helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

Betsy opened her rucksack to change her hat. Joker could see Betsy had a large, floppy sunhat, a balaclava, a rain hat, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a swimming cap! “Did you bring a fez too?” Joker asked Betsy.

“We could go on a hunt for glow-worms, perhaps!” said Betsy to Inga. "I've never seen one."
