But Alvina and the tour group are scratching their heads, feeling very confused about why less is heavier than more? Until Alvina experiences a lightbulb moment, reflecting on the composition's title...

Episode 3: Alvina and the group are all mesmerised when Homard presents this beautiful fantasy art piece, by one of PnF's many talented artists! Alvina imagines taking the place of the happy little dragon on the hilltop, surrounded by butterflies, the skies filled with a breathtaking light show...

Episode 4: A warmth is instantly created by this artist, placing candles in the window, a buffer against the cold and blowing snow. Everypet can almost smell the faint evergreens if they gaze long enough into the painting.

Episode 5: "Pachyderm Paradise is a lovely addition to our Endangered Species Collection," Homard exclaims.
Alvina looks in awe at the many examples of endangered animals, grateful that they are not endangered here in PnF land, and determined to help promote awareness of their plight in other places...

Episode 6: Kirsten’s Rainy Encounter was inspired by a series of oil paintings by RL artist Leonid Afremov. The Rainy Encounter series uses the play of vivid colours reflecting off wet ground and through rain to soften the image and create depth perception. Alvina jumps up and down in glee at receiving a print of this beautiful scene, because they really, really want their hooman to make an art with it and put them in it, so they can splash in the puddles and dance in the rain!

Episode 7: "Here we have a fine example from the artist's green period" Homard explains, waving a claw for emphasis.
Alvina is reminded of the Emerald City in one of the Oz books. Interesting...

Episode 8: Here is a fine example of mixed media. The featured artist combined a variety of different shapes and colors to pull together a fantastic composition that gives one a sense of serenity.

Episode 9: Christmas Chimes is a beautifully executed miniature, which cleverly pulls together classical Christmas decorations in a more contemporary formation. Alvina is so taken with this artwork that Alvina hopes the Musee Gift Shop stocks this beautiful decoration!

Episode 10: Kathy’s Autumn Reflections is a fine example of this PnF artist’s mastery of colours and hues! This beautiful scene perfectly encapsulates the beauty of a PnF autumn, and also reflects it back at the viewer in its clear, still waters! With autumn just around the corner in PnF Land, Alvina is delighted to receive such a beautiful scene to use in the weekly art challenge!

Episode 11: Homard proudly unveils the next work of art to Alvina and the tour group! This family portrait encapsulates the hope for the future which young pet parents feel, as they are drawn closer together in their shared vigil awaiting the arrival of their first offspring...

Episode 12: Eeeeeeeek shrieks Alvina! Is it Halloween already? And I totally forgot to trick 'n' treat? Homard consoles Alvina, reassuring Alvina that it isn't quite Halloween yet, but the Musee displays art for all seasons, and how could they not include Halloween? Alvina breathes a sigh of relief, thinking about what costume they might want to make, or ask their hooman to help them make, for this year...

Episode 13: "Compass Fun is a fanciful work by a promising young artist, whose career Cannelle has been following with great interest. " Homard explained enthusiastically.
Alvina noticed that whenever Homard got excited, he waved his claws around and got very squeaky. Alvina even had to duck once or twice!

Episode 14: "Bungee Jump! is one of the best examples of photographic art, on loan to Musee d'art de Cannelle from the collection of the very famous artist, photographer and adventurer, BOB."
Alvina didn't know Bob was a photographer, but he must be good. Alvina's attempts to get the krakken on film didn't go very well. Bob's use of a timer and tripod was inspired. It's difficult to take pictures while you're being hugged by a krakken!

Episode 15: Lunar New Year Dress

Get out that little red dress for the Lunar New Year festivities! The colour red is vitally important to Chinese culture, representing fire and energy, vitality, good luck and prosperity. This dress, with its narrow waist and bell shaped skirt, in vivid shades of red embellished with bamboo leaves is the perfect fit for this time! The Festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first lunar month in the Chinese calendar and for the next fortnight visits are made to family and to friends. The visitor will come bearing a small gift to the household, most often citrus fruit, which is said to bring wealth and good fortune. Guests are welcomed with tea and sweet treats served on a round or octagonal tray, symbolising togetherness. Usually the sweets are arranged in amounts divisible by eight as this is a lucky number. The first day of Lunar New Year represents new beginnings with renewed hopes for prosperity and happiness. There is excitement outside provided by Lion and Dragon dances performed in the streets.

Episode 16: Alvina gasps in amazement when Homard shows the group this whimsical piece from the gallery's surreal collection. Alvina can readily imagine skinny dipping in the gentle pool at the base of the waterfall, with dappled sunlight spilling into the still water...
Homard doesn't know if this piece actually has a name, so he just thinks of it as "The Stuff Dreams are Made of"...

Episode 17: This piece of art, entitled D is for Dance was created by one of PnF's most talented artists! Homard points out the elegant foot line portrayed by the artist, and the clever shell design on the dancer's pointe slippers. Alvina and the tour group are mesmerised by how lifelike this image is, so much so that Alvina almost thinks they can hear dance music playing...

Episode 18: Levitate is one of Homard's favourite works of art in the Musee! Levitate was created by one of PnF's finest purveyors of tiny art, so it is hardly surprising that Alvina and the whole tour group are mesmerised by the level of detail and the sense of whimsy this piece evokes!

Episode 19: Santarina’s Dress

This festive little red dress is perfect for the holiday celebrations. It was lovingly designed from luxurious red velvet fabric and is accented on the bodice and hemline with cotton lace crocheted by the always industrious PnF elves. Golden glittery stars make the dress sparkle and red stars and a cut-out cookie buckle adds fun and whimsy to the cute coordinating belt. Add a beautiful gold angel brooch for the finishing touch and you are all set to enjoy the festivities.

Episode 20: "Here we have a fine example of pop culture influence" Homard explains, gesturing with one claw toward the next painting.
Many in the tour group are fans, and crowd in for a closer look...

Episode 21: Entitled Closing Hour, this stunning piece of art was created by one of PnF's most talented artists, and a framed print of this masterpiece hangs in the bar at J&P's. When Alvina asks why it is called Closing Hour if the girl is still drinking, Homard explains that is because the bar tender is wiping down the bar.

Episode 22: Alvina is feeling in the pink admiring the elegant form of the bubbly beribboned pink butterfly drink, which the more adventurous little koala is attempting to climb, while his companion stands (or sits) lookout below. Be careful little koala, because that glass could become quite slippery if condensation forms on the outside!

Episode 23: "About Time is a lighthearted take on a serious subject," Homard explains, as several students in the tour group step in for a closer look. Their teacher usually asks about abstract art, and they don't want to miss a thing!

Episode 24: An homage to everypet's best friend, loyal and simple in it's love. The artist here simply states the love shared between owner and beloved pet, and begs the question, "Who Owns Who?"

Episode 25: After viewing all of the inspiring works in this section of Musee d’Art de Cannelle, Alvina is feeling a little sad to have to return to a gourd house that looks exactly the same as every other gourd house in PnF Land, which is not terribly exciting...because if you've seen one gourd house, you've seen them all!

But suddenly Alvina stumbles upon a stately mansion, which looks very similar to one in a Wyeth masterpiece...
"A present for me?" asks Alvina, hardly daring to hope!
