Flummox and Ari are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground South
Roll up! Roll up! After sunset the fairground is transformed into a glittering arena of swirling lights, with a backdrop of squawks, yelps and howls from pets clinging on for dear life to the scary rollercoaster and whirling round on the fluorescently lit big wheel! The best view is of course from the top, so c'mon, everypet, and have the experience of your life! For pets preferring a gentler ride, hold on tightly to the reins while our carousel horses look after you on a circular journey under a blue starry canopy. Then it's time to indulge in candy, popcorn, gingerbread and pumpkin pie made from the fall harvest! Hopefully everypet will have enough silver moles left to buy a magnificent helium balloon to take home ...

@ Caballo Carousel
Davidson got carefully down from the ride, stumbling slightly and holding tightly onto the sides. "I say, you do look a bit green, Davidson, old thing!" said Flummox. "I'm reminded of when you got seasick on our Crocodile Creek trip!"
"I was not seasick," said Davidson with dignity. "I had merely eaten something that disagreed with me."

From the queue, Icy nervously eyed the fairground ride whirling beside herself and Flummox. “What if the cable breaks?” she asked. “Oh, that won’t be a problem!” said Flummox airily. “They can always get another one!”

"Would you like a fork with that, Flummox?" asked Helga, as their respective servings of food were placed on the counter in front of them.
"No, that's fine, thank you, Helga! I'm just going to dive in!" (which, in a manner of speaking, he then did).

Spike and Flummox watched the antics on the waterslide as they stood in the line of pets waiting to board the next ride. "Remember when Foxy leant too far over the bridge in Meadowlands that time, and fell in the pond with a huge splash?" asked Flummox. "My stomach muscles ached from laughing for days!"

The ride had started off fairly gently, but was now gathering speed at a great rate! Violet Flame and Flummox had met just as it was starting and had managed to shake paws and say “Hello” before the ride deprived them both of breath!
