Visitors to the Frozen North are often confused by the local pets when they refer to the Frigid Wood and the Frigid Forest, often thinking both places are the same. Within the Frigid Wood lurks the Frigid Forest, where many things are different from the surrounding Wood - bodies of water, nutrients of the soil, and the trees which grow here.

The eastern end of the Petarctic Ocean is home to many wonders, including the most orange sunrise in all of Creaphoria. Scholars believe it is an illusion, having something to do with the salt content of the ocean spray. Some pets think it is a blessing from an unknown entity. Others find they can't see the orange hues at all. One thing everypet agrees on - a beautiful sunrise is a beautiful sunrise regardless of how you view it.

The Pale Islet is known through Creaphoria for having a harsh dry climate with little rainfall. Legends tell the Islet was once a tropical paradise, until three local pets upset the Mighty Sorcerer. A spell was cast cursing the Islet, turning those who upset the Sorcerer into the Lonely Plateaus.

Walking along the dock, gathering up your water gear to get out on the Mirror Lake, be it paddling your canoe, kayak or putting slowing in the no wake zone with your little skiff. The clarity of the water allows the voyager to see down into the depths, counting bass, trout and the like as they lazily swim by.

The far north of Penafri makes its home within the Twilight Crossing, keeping many landmarks and settlements in perpetual twilight. Due to this, the northern end of the Dry Mountains have become known as the Twilight Peaks, where bright orange and calming purple hues mix all the landscape into one.
