Playful Penguin

We penguins are always dressed for success, even though we spend the summer in the ocean and the winter amidst icebergs. Thankfully in PnF the pets get around a lot, so we can play hide and seek in the ice with polar bears from the other end of your world!

When we are bored, we hang out with our friends and together we practice group huddle formations. We take on geometric shapes: hexagons, circles, all sorts! My own favorite shape to make is the octagon, because they have lots of corners, and it's fun to be on a corner - it feels like an important place to be!

Not only are our huddles fun and pretty, they keep us warm during those chilly south pole winters. Minus 70 is not for everyone, but for a penguin like me it is a tropical dream!

Since Santa gave us ice sculpting saws last Christmas, we've been cutting shapes out of the polar ice non-stop. We are so excited and can't wait to see how you'll use the many wonderful shapes we've designed.

We also love to travel and swim very long distances. We have even been spotted lounging on sunny, tropical beaches sipping delicious fruity drinks. Though I am a flightless bird, just give me time and I will build a flight machine with our geometric shapes. Who said penguins can't fly!

From the beginning of time penguins have been a diving bunch and rather competitive about it. This nonsense about bringing their mates pebbles? NOPE! Only the finest fish and krill will do. It has always been every ‘guin for themself, diving and swimming as deep as possible to find the newest and best treats. Every penguin learns early on in the crèche how important these lessons will be.

Boys being boys it was made into an annual competition to crown the deep sea diver of the year. Training was always fierce and very intense. Chicks would line the beach to see who would come out the champion in hopes of scoring a new strong mate.

Your pet becomes an expert at finding its own food!
