City Rat

Where do you go to find the most adorable city rat in all the universe? Pnf-land, of course! This little city rat is plumb-stuffed, and just too plump with goodies to even make it home. Or, do you think we’ve got it wrong? Perhaps, she’s waiting for a tummy tickle? Either way, there’s no denying this is one sweet city rat.

This little city rat is so sweet, it’s evolved to show it’s heart on its sleeve … er … we mean, rump. Glistening ebony eyes look to you with intelligence and shimmering curiosity, as it’s whip thin tail flicks and curls as an artist’s brush may do across his canvas. Perhaps, she’s hoping you’ll give her a new ribbon (or, if your city rat is a he, a nice bow-tie!). We can assure you our darling city-rats make the best pets!

Shhh … it’s sleepy-time for the most adorable city rat in all the land. We wonder what she’s dreaming of, or who? All we can be sure of is we could spend hours watching her little twitches and nose-wiggles. Sweet dreams, little city rat, sweet dreams.

When you are small enough that major predators just take pity on you, and you can’t see as far as the mirror you are trying to recognise yourself in, familiar well-worn paths are all you ever venture on, and then you go as fast as you can to make sure nobody spots you before you spot them, because you can’t see them anyway …

The only safe way for tiny rodents and other miniature four-legged creatures to compete with one another is to go nowhere fast. Once the word leaked out about hamster wheels, everypet from geckos to beavers liked the idea. So now the big event for small creatures is wheel racing.
