Blue Shelled Turtle

I may look slow and a bit grumpy, but there's a lot more to me than meets the eye. Did you know that I once raced against the famous Greek warrior Achilles? I'm sure at least a few of you know how that went. And don't go trying to tell me that was a tortoise - it's a dark lie. It was a turtle. Me. I was there. All right?

Do you have any idea how hard it is to overcome the label, slow? Hopefully, my high-altitude training and new protein diet have done the trick because, one way or another, I am going to win the 100-metre sprint. Now to visualize myself at the finish line....

Your pet becomes an expert at finding its own food!

Dolphins have always been very playful, proudly showing off their abilities to leap high into the air and pirouette their way into the depths, reminiscent of a chorus line in a famous ballet! But dolphins are also very social, and soon realised that their friends the manatees, sea turtles and fish did not share their grace or dexterity.

So the dolphins conceived of an activity that all of their friends could join in with them and enjoy. Distance swimming races…which the stodgy older turtles secretly refer to as “organised drowning”…
