Baby otter

This darling baby otter pup is just a few weeks old, but he’s already learning to take a dip in the tumbling spring river, chasing after the plentiful fish he’ll be catching in no time. He is quite a vocal baby and you will hear him chirping just like the new, noisy hatchlings high in the trees, calling for a playmate or signaling to mom when he needs a helping hand. Curious, adorably shy, and as cute as a button, the baby otter is just waiting for someone to take him (or her) home with a new name to start a life full of adventures!

Dolphins have always been very playful, proudly showing off their abilities to leap high into the air and pirouette their way into the depths, reminiscent of a chorus line in a famous ballet! But dolphins are also very social, and soon realised that their friends the manatees, sea turtles and fish did not share their grace or dexterity.

So the dolphins conceived of an activity that all of their friends could join in with them and enjoy. Distance swimming races…which the stodgy older turtles secretly refer to as “organised drowning”…
