Little Monster
I have heard that quite a lot of you have little monsters of your own. Will you please make me yours too?
I was wandering in the woods when I smelled the delicious scent of a bug burger supreme, and couldn’t help but follow my nose. When I got out of the woods I looked everywhere (at once, of course!) and finally I found it, half eaten by Hubert the Troll. Hubert has been given lots of them to eat and he doesn’t like them a lot, so he was glad to let me have as many as I wanted.
They tasted so nice that I didn’t notice it getting dark. Darkness is so terrifying - I have six eyes to see nothing with instead of two, so that makes it three times worse for me! So I gladly accepted Hubert’s invitation to spend the night in his gourd house. Now that I know how comfy they are, I will never go back to the woods again.
I will miss my old friends from the woods, but it always rains there. I hope some more of them will be coming out when they smell all these lovely new foods Hubert has told me about! Please let me know if you see any of them around. Tell them it doesn’t rain indoors, so I’ll be waiting inside to see them! They will be so much happier visiting the gourd house of your pet than feeling the water run down the back of their necks all the time. And no, I don’t have eyes in the back of my head!

Words with PetsEven with 18 sports already established in PnF, there were plenty of pets who just couldn’t hope to compete in any of them. Naturally that made them all feel very, VERY left out. So they held a meeting to work out what to do. Some said they wanted to compete with hula hoops, others wanted to fly kites, but no suggestion made had enough possible competitors to make it into a sport instead of a solo demonstration.
One of the pandas, who was really fed up, decided to vent her feelings. “This is unacceptable!” she said. “Incomprehensible! Insufferable!”
“Unsatisfactory!” rumbled a Yeti.
“Exceptionable!” scowled a starfish.
“Inconcssssssseivable!” added a garter snake.
Everyone looked at the snake.
“I heard it in a film,” he explained.
“With that many esses?” asked a hermit crab.
“Well that’s the way snakes spell it,” said the snake. “And it scores better with more esses in it.”
Then he had to explain about scoring in “Words with Pets”, and since everyone present seemed to be able to use long words to explain how bad it was that they had no sport to play, soon they were all playing “Words with Pets”.
