Pippa now knew her purpose at the meeting and she was scared. This was the potion they had just brewed, and they wanted her to drink it. She didn't know enough about magic to realize, that a living, conscious being could not be forged from pouring the potion onto a rock like she had imagined. No, they needed a live magical to drink it and by doing that the magical was going to be transformed into the special weather being which Pippa herself had suggested they make. Pippa tried to find a way not to drink the potion, because she did not know how she could ever see her family again if she was a weird weather creature, and she wanted to go home now. She told the dragon, that she had to go smell some flowers and attempted to break the circle and run out of the cave, but she couldn't, the circle was strong as a brown troll.
