Christmas has arrived with the New Year right around the corner. Scaredy Cat, Bob and JJ were relaxing around the fire in the book room along with a couple new friends who were enjoying the ambience of the room with them. Scaredy Cat had been playing Santa handing out gifts to his friends. There was one gift left wrapped in gold with "2025" on it. Bob was very curious indeed about this one. Excitedly he asked Scaredy Cat who that present was for. Scaredy Cat responded that it was for all of them, and it contained all their celebrations, hopes, and wishes for 2025. JJ imagined it had a giant bone in it, while Bob secretly hoped it was full of delicious treats. Scaredy Cat teasingly responded that they were going to have to wait until New Year’s Day to find out what's in it after ringing in the New Year. "Oh man" sighed Bob impatiently. "Meanwhile, there are still lots of traditions and fun things to do while we celebrate the holidays this week" Scaredy Cat announced. JJ slurped on her candy cane while Bob nibbled on another cookie and the group decided this would be a good art challenge this week.
This week it's time to celebrate Christmas and the New Year! It's up to you to create whatever scene you would like to show how you celebrate the holidays. Maybe your pets and hoomans are exhausted and wish to take a nice long winter nap after all the hard work baking and wrapping presents? Or are your pets the kind that like to make a big bang while ringing in the New Year? Some pets prefer quiet days to reflect on what Christmas and the New Year means to them and others make New Years resolutions. It's totally up to you!
