lisa as kaida approaches scaredy cat, she greets him with "gung hay fat choy!" "gung hay fat choy"? am i fat? and what is a choy? scaredy cat is confused!! kaida smiles as she explains that "gung hay fat choy" is the greeting for "happy new year" during the chinese new year. it is said that this year is the year of the goat. scaredy cat doesn't see any goats - just a couple of happy sheep grazing nearby. he hopes that they don't want any of his tea or treats.
this week - our theme is about the chinese new year. let your pets celebrate in style! dress them up in red and yellow. head out to a festival and watch the fireworks explode in the sky. dance like a dragon!! and remember to wish everyone "gung hay fat choy!!"
