Happy Holidays! Aren’t my lights just pretty? I love the cold and the holiday season. I enjoy helping people decorate for whatever holiday that they choose to celebrate. I love snow! And ice! And cold! Did I mention I like cold? I am a harp seal, and my scientific name actually means, “ice-lover from Greenland.” My coat is white, as I am still a baby. But I like color. Do you like color? I love to play too! Will you play with me? As you can probably tell, I’m an excited little seal. Mama says I am full of energy, and I spend much of my time burning off my energy by sunbathing and sliding on the ice. Sometimes all my energy annoys Mama, and she’s constantly telling me that “I am lucky I am cute!” whatever that means. But today I am excited because it’s almost CHRISTMAS! Mama says I can pick my very own block of ice to decorate! I’ve been carefully inspecting them all, looking for the perfect one to hang these colorful lights! They are just so pretty and I can’t help but play around in them, even if I do end up a tiny bit tangled. It’s okay, I’m a master at untangling myself! Ooh! Look at that one over there! If we hurry, we can slide along the ice and beat any other seals that might want to claim that block of ice for themselves! I’ll race you, are you ready? Ready, set, GO! Merry Christmas!

The sphinx with the head of a human, wings of an eagle and body of a lion represented royalty and sacred status. A sphinx would stand guard by tombs as the image is quite terrifying.

This bear sphinx is not scary, it is playful, with a brilliant Egyptian headdress and a smiling face, welcoming all pets. 

Wow! You can have your own pyramid. I am not sure how comfortable it would be to live in. The rooms are small and dark, and though the temperature inside remains a constant 20 degrees Celsius, it may get a bit stuffy as the ventilation shafts are quite small. The pyramid is an unusual structure and was not meant to be lived in. A pyramid would certainly work as a temporary dwelling or a way to escape the intense desert heat for a while and some pets may love the idea of living in a pyramid.

In case anyone cares there is a new king in town. Step aside King Tut and bow down to King Penguin! Ruling the First Dynasty of pNf is the almighty King Guin. Gifts of fresh fish as always accepted.

Thrones are wonderful, with all the details and rich materials used. But they are not wonderful to sit on for long periods. Fan like an Egyptian. Over 4,000 years ago Egyptians invented the fan, thank goodness for that. On a hot day, all the pets love to laze around and have a good pal fan them. Of course, they all take turns. This lovely feather fan—all the feathers are found feathers not plucked—is perfect to create a cooling breeze.

Warning: please do not let someone dare you to put your tongue on the pole!

Now isn’t this the cutest thing you have ever seen? A sweet little pup pup seen from inside out. Taking a close look at the image it appears this pooch is happy and healthy and good to go home. Now who is a good boy and gets a treat?
