Over the hills and not too far from the town centre sits a well—in a field of flowers and eggs, but not just any well; this appears to be a special well where you can pull up a basket of Easter eggs.

There are many mysteries in PnF land, so though the pets are curious as to how this well came to be, they won’t ask too many questions, as who would not want a magical well that gave you Easter eggs sitting a short walk from where you live?

It is the perfect day for adventures outside in the snow. Did you bring your skis? Are you dressed warmly with your ears covered? Mittens both accounted for? If you are ready, let’s head to the ski lift.

Wow! There are so many chairs we won’t have to wait long, and we will be standing at the top of the ski hill, ready to swoosh down. I can’t wait.

If you and your pets take a walk into the forest outside of town, you will notice little clusters of happy mushrooms under each tree, and you will notice something else. Fairies, more fairies than you may be used to seeing.

There is no snow yet in the Fairy Forest, so before the snow falls, the fairies are busy visiting each other and deciding what magical spells they will use to decorate the trees in the forest this year.

It is such a beautiful forest my pets can't wait to see what it will look like when the fairies are finished decorating.

Brrr! When your paws are cold, finding a shelter might make you think that this is exactly where you want to warm up. Honestly, if I were you, after opening that door and catching a whiff, you might want to stomp your paws and keep moving.

No pet can recall who once lived - or still lives - within the manor. Pets regularly dare each other to visit the manor, almost becoming a right of passage to enter alone. Those pets who are brave enough return with stories of being followed, seeing shadows, and pawfalls they couldn't find.

If you find yourself in a strange place and are unsure, the wolf will show you the way forward if you allow it. Follow gently behind and take no fright as the wolf has always been a guide and teacher.

Fog seeps into every crevice, stirring in the gentle breeze, rustling leaves answering in return. As the colors fade along with the sunlight, a chill runs down your spine, and with a quick glance, something lurking deep in the shadows catches your eye. Maybe it's time to pick up the pace...

These two may seem like a pair you don't want to encounter in the dark - but the truth is they aren't as threatening as they seem. This pair just happen to have soft blue eyes which appear red whenever a flash is used. The playful duo enjoy pranking other pets with their "red eyes".

It's the staple of many a horror film, where the hero or heroine ventures bravely—or rashly—into the suspected haunted house and v-e-e-r-y cautiously and slowly makes their way up the dilapidated, cobwebby cr-e-e-e-eaky staircase towards their fate. At what point does the light fail completely? What awaits them around that dark bend? [shiver]

As you hike through the woods, a path opens up, calling you to explore. The further you travel, the darker the trees grow, the dimmer the sky above grows. The trees begin to loom over you, hiding the sky above as a mist rolls through. A growing sense of gloom and unease comes over you, urging you to retreat. Turning, you find the path lost in the dark.

Any forest can be disorienting if you're unfamiliar with the area, but this forest puts even the most experienced forest guide to the test. As the sun sets, the gatherings of trees seem to mirror each other, creating a never-ending maze.

The perfect moon to trick or treat under. Let it light your quest whatever may come.

There is one night a year when things may not be as they have been, the air shifts, the light dims, and what you only saw out of the corner of your eye suddenly takes on a more solid form, and you are unsure of where you are and how you got there.

This mysterious castle has sprung out of the darkness on Halloween night, or maybe you were transported to wherever this forgotten castle sits. Your mind is hazy, and your feet move of their own accord toward the front door.

You may check in of your own free will but will you ever leave?

The raven corvus corax is rich in symbolism in many cultures. As an eater of carrion, it often symbolises battle, destruction and death in art, folklore and literature. However, being a highly intelligent creature, the raven also stands for wisdom, the afterlife, magic and longevity. The bird is also considered an excellent teacher and guide. In some cultural depictions, the raven is a psychopomp, meaning it acts as a guide between the newly deceased and the afterlife.

The number one path to the street with the best treats in town. This unsuspecting sidewalk will soon be filled with hopeful trick-or-treaters, each wanting to bring home the best candy haul of the night.

Your pets are so excited. It is vacation time, and you rented a summer vacation house on a small island. Today is the day you are all going to the perfect beach. You—with the help of your pets—pack up snacks, a cooler of drinks, shovels and pails, floaties and flippers. You all set off down the lane.

Wow! “This is the perfect beach,” the pets say, running down to the silky sand. There are no clouds in the sky, and the blue water looks inviting. There are palm trees that give welcoming shade, and as the pets all race to test the water, they yell back to you, “It is lovely and warm.”

Setting up your beach umbrella and placing a blanket on the sand, large enough so that all the pets can sit on it, you turn to survey the scene. It is perfect.

Did you remember the sunscreen? Oh! I lost my sandal, hang on. Did we bring enough snacks? The lounger looks like it needs more air in it.
Wow! Look at that view. Do you see, there is a waterfall over on that island? Do you think we could go over there? I bet it is not too far a swim. The water looks calm, and the sand is so golden and soft. We found the perfect spot to set up our umbrella and cooler. I want to relax here all day. I wonder what it looks like a night with the moon shining on the water.

Mushrooms as far as the eye can see. Have your pets ever wanted to live in a mushroom city? Here is their chance. Sweet little mushroom houses—in delightfully bright colours—that are cheerful to look at and even more fun to live in. Each home is a comfy cottage size that won’t require too much time to keep clean, so your pets can spend their day playing in and around the mushrooms that grow nearby.

The first thing to do if you want to build a new city, shopping mall, or even a park is to find the perfect piece of land.
“Hurray.” shout the pets. The location was found, and a road was constructed, making it easy to bring in materials. Now the plot of land is ready for whatever the pets have in mind. What do you think the pets will build? Maybe a theatre or a glass-blowing factory. Whatever the pets decide to construct; it is sure to be noisy around here for a while, so bring your hard hat, safety goggles and sturdy boots if you want to lend a hand.

You may need to fix the fences on this corner of the field, or you could tear the fence down and plant more trees. Open spaces are places of the imagination. If you sit quietly and soak in the atmosphere anything can spring to mind. An orchard is a wonderful place that provides fruit and places for the more mystical creatures of PnF land to live and play. You may like to use the space for you and your pets to plant a special flower garden, and see how many rare flowers you can plant. The bees would be happy to see more flowers.

This looks like the perfect field to start planting your spring seeds. What will you and your pets plant? Will it be corn or oats? Maybe you want to plant the field with grasses to feed a herd of cows. Yum, milk, ice cream, and cheese. You could plant nothing but flowers and let the wonderful colours and scents delight you all summer long. You could leave it unplanted and just run around flying your kite. The possibilities are endless when you are presented with such a wonderful open space.

Make sure you have a good supply of water and a full tank of gas as you drive through the desert. There's no place to stop for miles. Some desert cacti are protected like the saguaro cactus but others are edible like the prickly pear cactus, and travelers in the western frontier no doubt used them when they needed to.

The sun rises up behind one of the most famous active volcanoes in the world, Mount Fuji.
Mount Fuji is actually three volcanoes, Komitake at the bottom, Kofuji in the middle, and Fuji at the top, which is the newest volcano, all of which have contributed to the unmistakable conical shape. The volcano is surrounded by five lakes, with thermal hot springs that visitors can enjoy.
This bold and beautiful scene will make a stunning backdrop for the art slides you and your pets are creating together.

A gingerbread sidewalk with sweet icing snow drifts makes a delicious-looking scene. This is the perfect background for making gingerbread art slides. Will you be tempted to get a plate of gingerbread cookies to nibble on while you create?

When you step out of your house tonight, darkness will enfold you, and rustling sounds are everywhere. Walking past your neighbour's fence—a fence you have walked past hundreds of times—you may feel eyes watching you. There, that house, you know it well though it is in darkness now. Will you approach it; will you go to the door and knock? Is there a pumpkin on the porch—lit up with a candle inside—to greet you? The house beside it, you played there in the summer, but now, is that light moving in the upstairs window? You shiver, everything that was familiar is now spooky, and you are unsure but excited on this Halloween night.

Home of the legendary Plant Gurl and her mysterious domain, Entropy Acres is a small forested haven of peace where one may find an enchanted landscape, little faes, magical lotus flowers and hidden treasures. Rumored to be the home of a unique art collection, the house at the centre of this magical land is seldom found, but remains forever in the hearts of those who stumble upon it in a distant dream.

Rich dark earth ready for planting. Neighbouring pets can get together over the fence and discuss what crops are best to plant this year. Maybe it will be fields of wheat or sunflowers.

Under the sea, under the sea, oh how happy we’ll be. If you are going to make an underwater art scene you need to start with the sea itself. This lovely purple and blue background is a great starting point. The perfect background for your mermaids to make their home. This could be a tropical ocean filled with rare and colourful fish and seaweeds–or a frozen ocean way up north filled with the type of fish that love the cold. Take inspiration from this wonderful ocean canvas and see how happy you and your pets will be.

Ribbons of rainbow colours streak across an azure sky. The sea playfully splashes upon the shore. Hills of velvet green with just a dusting of snow in the foreground. How can there be such an idyllic landscape? Perhaps I am dreaming. I do not wish to awake if this is a dream. I want to scamper across the hills with my pets and play in the foam on the beach and picnic under that rainbow in the sky.

I don’t think a troll lives in that house. Should we find out? The surroundings are beautiful and that bridge, I want to come back here in the spring and toss sticks from that bridge into the water and see where they end up.

Stop and take a moment to gaze upon the green productive fields as far as the eye can see. Breathe in the heady aroma of fruits and vegetables growing in the sun and rain. Plant your fields with anything your heart desires and maybe a few of your pets would relish getting out and working in the fields too. Artists can create a wonderful art scene of nature’s bounty.

Most beaches you look out to sea hoping to see ships. Here you look for icebergs, and you hope the ships see them too!

Oh I do like to be beside the sea side ... even when there's nobody else there and nothing but elk for a thousand miles!

The pets have a very varied tour taking in the magnificence of Rome and Vatican City, romantic Florence, and also Siena, and the vineyards of Tuscany. They will come across another very stylish icon of the Italian automobile industry! There will be opportunities to explore winding backstreets with a choice of Italian eateries! Other sights are Cinque Terre, with its colourful jumble of houses, and for sea-lovers, visits to coastal lighthouses, including one in Genoa. One exciting point will be viewing a flypast of the Frecce Tricolori, the Italian airforce aerobatic fleet!

We go island-hopping off the "boot" of Italy on Sardinia and Sicily! There is so much for the pets to enjoy here, from the dozens of flawless sandy beaches, vibrant, colourful houses and special flora and fauna. The architecture reflects the melting pot of travellers from ancient empires of Europe, Africa and the Middle East that used the islands as a stopping-off place—the Byzantines, Phoenicians and of course, the Spanish, all of whom have left their mark. The water is perfectly clear, making it ultra-inviting for pets who want to try their paw at snorkling! And there's a banger of a surprise on Sicily, home to Europe's largest volcano, Mount Etna! It's classed as active, but pets need have no fear—that just means it's erupted once since the last Ice Age! Rest assured, your picnics will not be disturbed!

We start by unashamedly concentrating on the beautiful water city of Venice from dawn to night life, and experience delights from gondola trips on the canals, viewing quaint little bridges and magnificent architecture, to a visit to the grand Opera House. The pets will round off their Venetian tour with a visit to the famous Murano glass factory! We then move on to a colourful little town outside Venice before completing this leg of the trip by visiting scenes of a very different nature in the mountainous South Tyrol and Dolomites.

The pets will here explore the vineyards of Piedmont; the birthplace of the Fiat 500 in Turin; the many delights of fashion capital Milan; Lake Como and Lake Garda. They will experience the scary hairpin bends of the Tyrolean Stelvio Pass and meet a curly-horned guardian of the Dolomites. Also to be seen is one of the most beautiful old villages in Italy and a very posh palace!

In this part of the trip, the pets will explore sights ranging from narrow village backstreets to the famous Arco san Felice in Puglia and the Isle of Capri. They will see iconic Italian vehicles such as the tiny Fiat 500 and the Vespa scooter. Along the way they come across Italian flora and fauna, and have ample opportunity to sample the best of Italian cuisine, not only pizza, pasta and delicious gelati but dishes made with freshly picked lemons and grapes! But let's hope they're not kept awake by too much espresso!

There’s nothing so breathtaking as watching the sun peak over the crest of the mountain, the dawn of a new day and full of promise and adventure.

Sun streaming down, warming up the ground and nourishing the plants and pets alike. There’s nothing better than a warm sunbeam for a nap! Yawn! Did someone say nap?

There’s beauty in the pattern of freshly plowed fields, watching from on high as little green shoots climb out of the soil and strive for the sun’s warmth.

Hang on tight to that tendril as you look out over the vast countryside, it’s a long way down!

The Irish Republic, or Eire, as it's called in Irish Gaelic, is not, of course, part of the UK; it is an independent country, but geographically belongs to what are known as the British Isles. Ireland is well known for many things, from Oscar Wilde and George Bernard Shaw, Guinness and Irish whiskey, colcannon and soda bread, music, song and Riverdance, folklore, leprechauns and the legendary Irish hospitality.

The pets enjoy a tranquil Hertfordshire landscape before moving south towards London. They see the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and then move on to central London to visit iconic sights. Mind the Gap—they take a trip on the Tube to Baker Street, home of the legendary Sherlock Holmes! They see a typical London pub and see some friendly bobbies guarding the Palace. The pets will then head east to visit a football ground and the scene of a yearly pop festival before finishing the tour in the tranquil surroundings of a mediaeval cathedral city.

The pets start their journey in Derbyshire, in the east Midlands, and travel up to see the base of the famous Red Arrows aerobatic display team before moving on to the Peak District. From there they explore Cheshire and Lancashire and the Lake District National Park. They can enjoy visits to popular seaside resorts on the west and east coasts, and will see York, one of England’s finest and most beautiful historic cities, called Jorvik by Viking invaders who settled there. They then travel up the North Yorkshire coast spotting British fauna and flora before stopping at Newcastle on Tyne for a final night before crossing the border into bonnie Scotland!

Welcome to England! The pets cross the Welsh border to visit a nearby cathedral city and then the county of Shakespeare's birth before heading south to see a very different birthplace—that of an iconic British motor car in 1948, still in use today. Going further south the pets will enjoy two counties very popular as summer holiday resorts, have the opportunity to go on a hot air balloon ride, and to visit Dartmoor—let's hope the Hound of the Baskervilles isn't lurking! They will see wild ponies and have a glimpse of England's friendly national bird, known to every gardener. Moving further along the south coast, the pets will visit an exotic royal retreat in the Chinese and Indian style and a typical seaside pier.

Welcome to Northern Ireland! The official flag of this country is the Union Flag, but St Patrick's Saltire (a red diagonal cross on a white field) represents Northern Ireland on the Union Flag. After arriving at the busy port of Belfast, home of the Titanic, the pets will have an extremely varied trip, viewing not only Neolithic sites and a wonder of the world dating back 50 million years, but they will also enjoy lots of bracing fresh air, viewing castles and coastlines! In the evenings, perhaps they will enjoy some legendary Northern Irish music with traditional meals in the local taverns.

Fàilte gu Alba! Welcome to Scotland! The pets will enjoy a varied tour, taking in the capital, Edinburgh, lochs and lighthouses, castles and keeps, waterfalls and winged wildlife, some rugged Highland scenes and they will see marvels of engineering. They will sample Scottish cuisine, perhaps cullen skink or cranachan. But will they be able to resist the lure of deep fried Mars Bars?

Croeso i Gymru! Welcome to Wales! The pets' journey of the British Isles begins in the home of castles, choirs and Celtic myth; of legends, the longbow and language of the Welsh; of rain, rugby and racing; of dragons, daffodils and deer. With three National Parks and five Areas of Outstanding Beauty to explore, your pet will find that scenic Wales, with its mild climate, is the perfect place for a spring holiday! So—as our pets disembark on the north coast, clutching passpets and perhaps a Welsh phrasebook to try out the local lingo, let's see what sights they will enjoy on their tour! They will visit attractions ranging from a tiny house to large castles, and enjoy rambling through wide open spaces and waterfalls with picnic lunches of local cheeses and bara brith and evening meals of leek and potato soup and Welsh rarebit. On the last evening, in a mediaeval town near the border with England, the pets will enjoy traditional meal popular throughout Britain before retiring to their hotel for the night.
