When Pouchahontas applied to become a champion, Sam wanted to know what she would do to ensure she won come what may. Cheating was required. So Pouchahontas said she would hide whatever she needed to win in her pouch. But the only person she ever cheated was Sam, because her huge hind limbs were all she needed and her pouch was never used to cheat in any way, though she was often suspected of cheating just because she was working for Sam. Pouchahontas says she was always truthful, because the only thing she needed to help her was nothing, and there was nothing in her pouch. Sam says he feels she cheated him, but he also says he deserved it. So they disagree amicably and have come to think of this as a huge joke.

Pouchahontas now takes both joeys and baby rabbits for a bounce in her pouch to help them imagine what it would be like to be great at the long hop, and has a mission in life - to help the young aspire to greatness.
