Guthrie and Bahama are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground South
Roll up! Roll up! After sunset the fairground is transformed into a glittering arena of swirling lights, with a backdrop of squawks, yelps and howls from pets clinging on for dear life to the scary rollercoaster and whirling round on the fluorescently lit big wheel! The best view is of course from the top, so c'mon, everypet, and have the experience of your life! For pets preferring a gentler ride, hold on tightly to the reins while our carousel horses look after you on a circular journey under a blue starry canopy. Then it's time to indulge in candy, popcorn, gingerbread and pumpkin pie made from the fall harvest! Hopefully everypet will have enough silver moles left to buy a magnificent helium balloon to take home ...

"What's the fastest ride here, Guthrie?" asked T.C.. "Is it this roller coaster?"
"No, the merry-go-round has more horse power!" said Guthrie.

Guthrie encountered Choose a name Thisisme at the fairground. “Have you been on this ride yet, Choose a name Thisisme?” asked Guthrie. “It’s quite an experience!”

Your cart reaches the top of the slope and then there is a moment of calm when it pauses before it starts on its helter-skelter journey downwards -- until it hits the next climb back upwards!

Whilst other pets were staggering dizzily off the ride, Choose a name and Guthrie decided to go round again!

“That should keep me going till I get home tonight,” said Smoki to Guthrie, while crumpling her used food container and placing it carefully in a litter bin.
“Or at least until the next food stall!” observed Guthrie.

@ Glide & Slide
The ride had started off fairly gently, but was now gathering speed at a great rate! Dai and Guthrie had met just as it was starting and had managed to shake paws and say “Hello” before the ride deprived them both of breath!

“The trouble with eating this, Jewel,” observed Guthrie, “is that it’s very moreish. You really don’t want to stop at one portion!”
”Another go on that roller coaster will put a crimp on your appetite quite nicely, I’ve found!” said Jewel.

Pavo and Guthrie watched the antics on the waterslide as they stood in the line of pets waiting to board the next ride. "Remember when Foxy leant too far over the bridge in Meadowlands that time, and fell in the pond with a huge splash?" asked Guthrie. "My stomach muscles ached from laughing for days!"

"Now it's night-time, this place reminds me a little of our tour round the Labyrinth that time," said Snickerdoodle slightly uneasily.
"Don't worry, Snickerdoodle," said Guthrie jovially. "No scorpions, snakes or spiders here! The thrills are of a—different nature!"

“This is so great, Choose a name!” enthused Guthrie. “All this buzz and excitement with the rides, the food, these fun things to buy, and the carnival music playing all around—I’m so happy we’re here!”

Helium is the second lightest and second most abundant element in the observable universe. Its use in filling balloons for our delight is a very minor one, but one we love!
