Eliza and Wee Willie are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Autumn in Green
Harvest-time in the countryside—what better time can there be? On this part of the tour, pets will start in a shady wood and have a picnic by an old country barn before continuing. They will discover an open air market of farmers' produce and be able to choose from the displayed apples, grapes, coffee beans, strawberries and chillies before viewing the coffee berries still growing. There are views of cornfields and flowers before finishing with a stroll along the river to admire the autumnal foliage.

As you stroll into this small village and begin to look around, don't forget to look up or you might miss the beautiful fall leaves overhead!

While Eliza stood drinking in the amazing view, Bella searched in her backpack for her camera, eager to capture the scene!

"Put your camera down for a minute, Eliza," said Orpheus, "and just drink in that view!"

@ Sparkling Dew Drops
Eliza was very happy to meet Coco here! They both swapped tales of their experiences of their travels so far!

This autumn realm lays at the bottom of several hillsides, causing its grasses to still have dew on them even at noon, as you (and your shoes) soon discovered upon your arrival.

@ Prairie Grass Before the Woods
Eliza thought the scenery at this new stop was lovely and asked Venus if it would be possible to set up camp for the night!

As you enter the village, you recall the beautiful prairie grass that preceded the woods, as each blade of grass, gently swaying back and forth with the breeze, began to melt the stress off your shoulders.

@ Flourishing Florist
“My uncle grows these in his back garden,” observed Eliza.
“Wow! He must surely have green fingers!” replied Ziggy.

At the end of the fence and treeline leading into the village, you encounter the local florist and the special roses being cultivated. This is perfect as it allows you to purchase a rose to take to your host for the evening!

@ Bouquet of Roses
"I think I'll take a cutting of the plant in that tub over there," said Eliza. The label says it's 'vigorous' and 'fearless'."
Kitty sniffed. "That's gardeners' talk for 'an invasive species that will take over your entire garden if permitted'!"

“I hope we can buy more of this at our local farmer's market,” observed Eliza, as she and Mr. Panda tucked into a delicious food sample!

Grace greeted Eliza cheerily, recommending she expended some silver moles on the fresh harvest food before them.

One produce cart that you didn't expect to see was an overflowing cart of a variety of chili peppers, something that the locals love to munch on as an afternoon snack, as well as use in their favorite recipes.

Eliza took a more pragmatic view. “You’d have to be up before dawn every day and work for 12 hours practically non-stop!”

One of the vendors has combined his freshly picked grapes with the special roses from the florist to create unique arrangements for the townsfolk's special days.

“I’m going to have to spend a lot of time when we get back looking up what all these flowers are!” said Eliza to Dragondrop.

One market stall sells unique flowers, such as the Chinese lantern, the orange leaves of which form a protective cover for the plant's simple white flowers and poisonous fruit (when unripened - but not very tasty even when ripe!), which makes the orange leaves the real attention-grabber!

Eliza was excited by seeing all the different harvest produce. “I’m going to apply for an allotment and start growing my own food!” he announced to Lalique, when they met and shook paws.

“These are great as a cake flavouring,” said Eliza.
“You can add it to savoury dishes as well. It’s very versatile,” observed Olivia.

Speaking of mornings, you'll find a market stall in this village that carries a neat combination of both red and green coffee berries, another favorite morning snack with the local pets, or travelers passing through, like you!

Upon arriving at your night's lodgings, you present the arrangement of roses to your hosts, thanking them for their hospitality. A tradition in this autumn realm is to present any lodgers with a rose as well - so you find it very enjoyable to have the flower's wonderful fragrance to be in your room too!

While Eliza stood drinking in the amazing view, ❤️Snuggles searched in his backpack for his camera, eager to capture the scene!

As you lay your head down for a good night's rest, you find yourself dreaming of the double rainbow you saw as you approached the outlying prairie. It made you feel like you were in for a double blessing once you came into the village.

“Oh hello, Eliza!” cried Norris. “Didn’t we bump into each other at Crocodile Creek a while ago?”

As you begin to make your way out of the village and back towards the woods, you take the time to stop by the village pond with its quiet waters and reflections of the morning's sunrise. You even take a moment to skip a stone or two!

@ Reflection of Fall Colors
Eliza tumbled out of the Autumn Experience tourist bus, almost flattening Snickerdoodle in the process, then she wondered where the muffled groans were coming from!

A little further along the shore and you are blessed with the fall colors that greeted you the day before, only this time it is a blessing that's doubled as these colorful trees are mirrored upon the still waters of the village pond.

While Eliza paused to enjoy the view, LoyaLloyd started scrabbling in his rucksack for his portable, folding camping chair. “What are you doing with that, LoyaLloyd?” asked Eliza. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

As the sun continues to rise, it lends its light upon the many trees that make up the wooded border of this autumn realm. You are glad for the day you had in the quiet village, but are excited for the new possibilities that lay beyond the woods!

Eliza and lilycat pooled their silver moles, hoping to buy a small souvenir or two to remind them of this beautiful place!

As you reach the end of the prairie grass, you again experience the sparkling dew of the morning mist as it lingers on some of the realms' outer flowers. It has been a good journey!!

Eliza is enjoying the Autumn Experience when Jubb Jubb comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Jubb Jubb. Eliza looks down and sees something valuable. Jubb Jubb generously lets Eliza keep it!
