What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!

There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

Reno gazed upwards. "I just saw some bats flying over there, Sugar Candy! It's not often you see those!"

“It must be very near dawn now, then!" said Reno.

Throw a paw in the air and hail a cab from the curbside, it's better than standing in the rain, getting wet! Or if not a there's always the bus stop!

@ Cobblestone Court
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Reno!” said NightGhost. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Reno good-naturedly took charge of NightGhost's possessions while he emptied his rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This he donned and then Reno helped him put everything back in his rucksack.
Cobblestone Court
Worn from years of travel, the old courtyard cobbles silently sit and watch as pets pad on by, listening through the centuries all the stories being told. Why the stories they could tell, if only someone asked.

@ City Scapes
"There's something magical about watching rivers at night-time, isn't there, Caroline Piper?" said Reno dreamily.
"I'm going to try and capture the look of the moonlight on the water," said Caroline Piper.

Like a sea of lava, heading to the ocean, so is the sea of pets traveling in the big city, on a river of light.

“If we stayed up long enough, we could catch the sunrise, Reno,” said Twitch.
“Gosh, I don't know about that, Twitch! It would be amazing but I'm not sure if I could keep my eyes open long enough!"

Reno and Winter were entranced at reaching this stopping place and eagerly posed for a picture standing on either side of the new attraction they had just seen!

@ The 1950s?
Reno is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when Choose a name comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Choose a name. Reno looks down and sees something valuable. Choose a name generously lets Reno keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

“Was that the call of a nightjar, Reno?” whispered Kitty Boo. "We're not usually up when they're out and about!"

“Don't worry, Lucky," said Reno. "We're going to stick in this group as we go round so it's quite safe."

Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

"Wasn’t it worth coming all this way, Reno," said Cocoa, "for this experience alone?" Reno, admiring the scene they were now in, heartily agreed!

Dai studied the sky above. “We could take this opportunity to do a little star-gazing, couldn't we, Reno?”
“Well, that's an interesting hobby, yes," replied Reno. "Look, is that the Bovinus constellation up there, Dai?"

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

Reno opened his rucksack to change his hat. Hyacinthie could see Reno had a large, floppy sunhat, a balaclava, a rain hat, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a swimming cap! “Did you bring a fez too?” Hyacinthie asked Reno.

Reno is considering the merits of another Fantastic Building when Pu[ comes along. "Wow! That completes the set!" says Pu[. Reno is amazed to have collected all three items!
