This is probably a camera effect, but it gives the rose a cool, distinctive beauty that sets it apart from the normal colour. Dried flowers are always rendered more beautiful when sprayed with silver paint, for example, for Christmas decorations. It is like a fresh fall of snow over a landscape, which beautifies the scene in every case!

This beautiful room in the baroque style is just the place for an evening soirée with soloists singing along to the the pianoforte. With the heavy curtains drawn against the evening cold and dark and the candles lit in the ornate sconces, it would be a memorable night!

What a cutie-pie! Tabbies are the most common domestic cats in the world. Their coat pattern offers excellent camouflage and improved survival chances, which is probably why it was sported by the first domesticated cats. One of the distinctive features shared by all tabby cats is the pronounced M on their foreheads. This characteristic M is part of their tabby pattern and is passed down genetically.

This handsome young guinea pig is a silver agouti. The hair shaft has two colours with the main part being one colour with the tip of the shaft another so as to give its coat a peppered look. A silver agouti has deep black hair with silver ticking.

This plant has many names: lunaria annua, garden moon viole, Judas Schilling (or Pfennig), silver thaler and Honesty. In the spring and summer this plant bears bright violet flowers, but the silver fruit pods are also very attractive and useful in floral arrangements.
