The sky is not opening up, but it sure seems that way, with the brilliant flashes of light and the loud crack as the air expands. Get indoors as fast as you can, and keep your pets safe as not many will enjoy the dramatic storm taking place outside.

My pets are in awe of these beautiful eggs—they would love to try to paint their own one year. Easter and spring are times of joy as the earth awakens, plants are pushing forth from the soil, and the days are becoming warmer. Many baby animals are born in the spring, and life is burgeoning. May these eggs bring you joy and be a reminder of the earth renewing itself.

Fluffy Clouds
Looking like a whipped-up marshmallow spread in the sky. I propose a day of relaxing, we will find a field and lay down on some grass and look up at the clouds and play a game about what they look like to each of us.

@ Rainbow Over The Grey Sea
Zyaire and precious had shaken paws and took some time to enjoy the exhibits in a companionable silence!
Rainbow Over The Grey Sea
A spectacular rainbow just touching the land. Rainbows and hummingbirds (which are like tiny flying rainbows) bring smiles to all who view them. The science behind what makes a rainbow is interesting but it will never be as much fun as the stories you can dream up to explain that bow of colours in the sky.

"Paz, just look at this exhibit! Isn't it amazing?”
"It certainly is, Zyaire! Perhaps they'll have it in postcard size in the gift shop!"
Balloons In The Sky
Some like balloons a lot—some, however, do not. Balloons can be colourful, or have fun saying on them—if you choose to enjoy balloons, please dispose of them safely after, so they don’t pollute the water and land and cause distress for our animal friends.

“I could stay here in front of this image forever, Zyaire,” said Bonny. “This is an amazing place!”
“Well, you never know what lies ahead, Bonny. I wouldn't be surprised if the next exhibit is even better!” said Zyaire.

@ The Milky Way
"Depending on their strength, winds can be known as a breeze, gale, storm or hurricane. Wind is caused by differences in air pressure. Air rushes from high pressure areas to lower ones," remarked Zyaire.
"Mm-hmm?" responded Chance.
The Milky Way
The Milky Way Galaxy, with spiral arms outstretched, moves through the cosmos devouring other galaxies—and far into the future, the Milky Way Galaxy will itself be devoured. From our viewpoint on Earth, it appears as a milky band—millions of stars lighting up the deep dark of space.

Air was considered a “pure” element, but in fact the air that’s all around us is made up of a variety of gases: primarily nitrogen and oxygen, with almost 1% argon and even smaller amounts of carbon dioxide and other elements such as krypton and helium. The composition of air is just right for life on Earth, though.

@ Classic Biplane CB-1
"The Great Fire of 1666 started in London, on Pudding Lane, in a baker's shop. The baker believed he had put the fire out but in the middle of the night the fire grew and his house was in flames. Pudding Lane is still there today. If you want to visit it, Monument is the nearest tube station. The place where the fire started is also marked by a monument topped by a fiery gold ornament," said Zyaire.
"It makes it sound like it's the only monument in London, Zyaire!" chuckled Sparkles.
Classic Biplane CB-1
This classic Hatz CB-1, 1960s biplane is built from a kit. The CB-1 is a tandem dual-control two-seat biplane with fixed tailwheel landing gear and is powered by a variety of nose-mounted small engines. Steel tube fuselage and tail with wooden wings.

@ Sunglasses Everyone
Zyaire and Cutie Pie shook paws, said “How do you do?” and posed for a souvenir photo. “Why am I always on the left?” grumbled Zyaire. “Let’s change sides.”
“No,” said Cutie Pie. “This is my best side.”
Sunglasses Everyone
The sun is so bright today that you really need to wear sunglasses if you hope to avoid a headache and eye strain. If there is not enough light, you cannot see—too much light, and you cannot see. The perfect amount of sun, just like the perfect porridge, is what we want.

@ A Mystical Place
"Do you know how matches came to be invented, chipper cheep?" queried Zyaire.
"No, how, Zyaire?"
"An English apothecary, John Walker, used a stick to stir a pot containing antimony sulphide, potassium chlorate & sulphur and some of the mixture stuck to the end of the stick. When he tried to scrape the lump, it easily caught fire and this led to the birth of friction matches. This was in 1827."
A Mystical Place
A small craft sets off on an adventure; the pets are excited and wonder what they will see. Passing through a bank of clouds, the sea and sky change. This is not any place the pets have ever seen before. Were they magically transported to a new planet. Is this a dream, are they all still at home tucked up in bed.
They gaze in wonder at the stars that shine brighter and closer than any stars they are used to; the water is as still as a sheet of glass, the pets want to reach down and grab a star reflection, so solid do they appear.

"Hey, this is interesting, Zyaire!" declared Rainz. "It says here that if the entire world’s water were fit into a 4 litre jug, the fresh water available for humans and pets would equal only about one tablespoon."
Zyaire fidgeted with the corner of his brochure. "I'm not sure I follow, Rainz!"
"It's a proportion thing, Zyaire. Nearly 97% of the world’s water is salty or otherwise undrinkable. Another 2% is locked in ice caps and glaciers. That leaves just 1% for all of our needs!"
When Sky And Water Become As One
It is easy to see how one could lose their way when out at sea when the sky and sea are the same colour and there are no other guiding landmarks. Beautiful and peaceful to look upon from a safe and sure place.

When the sky is filled with clouds and depending on the time of day you can get the most spectacular colour displays, from light pastels to vibrant hues. Ever-changing and ever-fascinating, always look up or you may miss a most marvellous show.

Ray Bradbury wrote a book called The Fireman, but the editors found the name boring. They called a local fire station to ask at what temperature book paper would burn at. The firemen put Bradbury on hold, burnt a book, and reported that the temperature it burnt at was 451° Fahrenheit. The rest, as they say, is history.

@ Touch The Moon
"At the time of the Great Fire of London in 1666 there was no fire brigade such as we have today. Men from the Navy used gunpowder to blow up houses in the path of the fire to halt its spread!"
"Goodness me, Jethro! Drastic, or what? Did it work?" queried Zyaire.
"It sort of worked—eventually! But it took some days, during which time a large part of London had been destroyed."
Touch The Moon
If you walk across that field and pass that gnarled tree and continue to walk just a bit further, I bet you could touch the moon, maybe even carry it home in a basket—though then what would others do when wanting some moonlight.

Huntley pondered. "I don't know, Zyaire, who is it?"
"It's Walt Disney World. The park launches the fireworks with compressed air instead of gunpowder to reduce fumes and gain better height and timing."

Have you ever seen such a substantial cloud, a cloud with so much personality it almost seems as if it could talk to you? What would it say if it began to speak? Would it tell you where it formed, what it had seen as it travelled across the great blue sky, would it be able to say where it was headed and what it would do when it arrived?

Oh, what fun! We are all going on a balloon ride—high in the air. The pets have packed their favourite snacks and brought their scarves—in case the air is cool. They are chattering and chirping about what they might see once the balloon is in the air.

"It says here that fire can exist on no known planet, other than Earth itself. This is because the rest of the planets in our Galaxy don’t have enough oxygen to support the burning of a flame."

A Very Grey Day
There are blustery days and snowy days, but I think this type of day would make a particular little donkey happy. Not everyone will love a grey day—on the bright side—when the sun does break through, it is such a delight that the dim greyness was worth it.

I wonder how many rainbows are in the sky—all over the world—at any given moment. Rainbows seem to bring a lot of happiness even if there is not a pot of gold at the end—maybe the real treasure is the joy they bring.

As Zyaire's experience of "Sky" comes to an end, he receives a wonderful gift!
Flowering Branch, Violet
Walking down the street, marvelling at the flowers awakening to the spring warmth. The new buds on trees bloom into a dazzling array of blossoms delighting the senses and gladening the heart. These wonderful violet blooms adorning delicate branches are a welcome addition to the garden.

Electrical Show
Bolts of energy, radiating light—flung downward from unseen hands—pierce the land.
