It was a trip out on the water that was relaxing and exhilarating at the same time, and they were all sorry when it ended.

Next, the pets had a trip on an historic steam railway. Adriana explained that the old steam trains in East Romania played a significant role in the region's transportation and industrial development during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These historic locomotives were introduced as part of the broader European railway expansion, which sought to connect distant cities and facilitate the movement of goods and people. The first steam train in Romania, named Privighetoarea (The Nightingale), was put into service in 1869 on the route between Bucharest and Giurgiu, a city located at the southern tip of the country. It was the last night of the pets' Romanian holiday and it was with mixed feelings that they sat down for the evening meal. They were looking forward to going home, but they had grown to love this country in central Europe and its inhabitants! They were about to indulge in a meal that was as much a part of the region's soul as its legend­ary castles and forests - a warm, nourish­ing bowl of mush­room soup. This culinary gem, known as ciorbă de ciuperci, is a symphony of flavours that celebrates the humble mush­room in all its glory.

Luey raised his glass in a toast. "Let's drink to this amazing place and to coming back in the not-too-distant future!" Luey's companions cheered as they too raised their glasses. "Noroc și sănătate bună!"

Luey has enjoyed their tour of Romania, but it is time to go home. This Event is over now, but there will be more events in PnF soon!
