"One reason for the Danes' happiness is the importance of hygge, the Danish way of enjoying quality time with friends and family. It can be many things, such as candle-lit dinners, wine, relaxed nights in. It's hard to explain," said foxi.

@ Denmark Aalborg Alley Way
"Have you seen on our itinerary, Bahama, we'll be visiting Møns Klint? Apparently it's a huge, beautiful series of white chalk cliffs leading down to a beach where it says you’re almost guaranteed to find a few fossils! Then at the GeoCenter Møns Klint you can see dinosaur reconstructions, watch 3D films and visit an excavation cave to try your hand at being a real life palaeontologist."

Sugar considered this. "Flag of Denmark. White cross on a red field. You know, when I can't sleep, I list in my head all the national flags in the world that use red and white only—there's about twenty of them, you know. Then I go on to blue and white—I'm digressing. I don't know; what's the answer?"
"The Danish flag, the Dannebrog remains the oldest state flag in the world still in use by an independent nation. It has been recognised as in use from 1219," replied foxi.

Thatched roof, whitewashed cottages can be found on Funen's Head or also known as Fyns Hoved on the island of Funen, take you back to a way of life before asphalt roof shingles. The best part of a thatched roof? It's still growing!

The Island of Møn is in the Baltic Sea and is a must-see for any nature lover! Check out this scenic 4-mile route of chalk cliffs about two hours' drive from Copenhagen -- there are amazing views from the top of the cliffs.

Gjógv, Faroe Islands
Gorge, named after a 200-metre sea-filled gorge that travels north to the sea. The village was first mentioned in 1584 but it is thought to have been in existence a lot longer. The Gjógv incline railway is the only operating railway in the Faroe Islands and it was installed to transport goods from boats.

Wood Island, is the northernmost island in the Faroe Islands. It has become a very important bird area for breeding birds, some of which are the Atlantic Puffin, Black-Legged Kittiwakes and Common Guillemots.

There are no native trees on the Faroe Islands. There is evidence that there may have been some stands of Birch and Hazel before human settlement. There are a few stands of trees that have been planted between 1800 and 1900. This location was also used in the James Bond movie, No Time To Die, and one can see why it was chosen.
