Karaca and Guaca are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground North
All the fun of the fair is here to provide your pet with entertainment and thrills, from waterslide to big wheel. And has your pet a strong enough stomach for a death-defying rollercoaster ride? To help restore your pet's equilibrium after all the excitements of the fairground rides, there are stalls selling hot potato snacks, popcorn, toffee apples, candy and delicious cakes and other yummy delights made from the autumn harvest produce! We hope everypet will leave clutching at least one of the fun carnival novelties!

Choose a name and Karaca were choosing a drink to go with their food when there was suddenly an almighty SPLASH! from the waterslide and they were hit by flying droplets from the pool!

“The trouble with eating this, Nightlight,” observed Karaca, “is that it’s very moreish. You really don’t want to stop at one portion!”
”Another go on that roller coaster will put a crimp on your appetite quite nicely, I’ve found!” said Nightlight.

Fairings is the traditional name for edible souvenirs sold at fairs throughout England. These ginger fairings became associated with Cornish fairs and are still popular in the region.

"Would you like a fork with that, Karaca?" asked Penta, as their respective servings of food were placed on the counter in front of them.
"No, that's fine, thank you, Penta! I'm just going to dive in!" (which, in a manner of speaking, he then did).

“That should keep me going till I get home tonight,” said Kalila to Karaca, while crumpling her used food container and placing it carefully in a litter bin.
“Or at least until the next food stall!” observed Karaca.

“To make it exciting!” said Karaca. “They make it accelerate by spinning the route in a circle!”

The world's oldest roller coasters descended from specially constructed hills of snow in the gardens of palaces around the Russian capital, St Petersburg, in the 18th century. The slides were built to a height of between 70 ft - 80 ft (21-24 m), had a 50 degree drop. These slides became popular with the Russian upper class."Russian mountains" remains the term for roller coasters in many languages, such as Spanish (la montaña rusa), Italian (montagne russe), and French (les montagnes russes). Ironically, the Russian term for roller coaster, "amerikanskie gorki", translates literally as "American mountains."

"Don't worry, I'll lend you a golden mole or two if you're short," said Mekmek.

"Now it's night-time, this place reminds me a little of our tour round the Labyrinth that time," said Sheba slightly uneasily.
"Don't worry, Sheba," said Karaca jovially. "No scorpions, snakes or spiders here! The thrills are of a—different nature!"

As sunset falls, you enjoy the ever-changing view as you chug a little further upwards and then pause as each pod takes on its precious cargo of pets eager to enjoy the ride. Then when all the pods are full, the wheel starts to turn, building up speed!

“Hi, lilycat!” called out Karaca. “I’ll be having some of that too, only I’m going to have at least two goes on every ride first!
