@ Dog Sled Fun
Flower and Snowball have been given a free map to help them enjoy their Winter Tour! Before unfolding it, they read the cover:
Aerial Adventure
The pets are collected after breakfast by a friendly array of sled dogs eager to be off! They will have to hang on tight for a speedy journey through a wintry vista before arriving at the aerodrome, where the pets will board a light aircraft for the day's trip. There will be superb aerial views of snowy mountains far below, with Alpine villages and public gardens becoming clearer in detail as the plane descends on its flight path for landing. As sunset falls the plane will land within easy walking distance of the night's accommodation. Here the pets can gather on large, comfy sofas to swap stories of the day's experiences, recharge their energy with cups of cappuccino, then enjoy hot bowls of soup and bread, and perhaps relax with a book before bedtime.

Mush never sounded so fun! Snuggling up in the blankets and enjoying the managed chaos of a sled ride, everypet will enjoy seeing the sights from a different vantage point.

“I asked Uncle David," replied Flower. "It's a word from Denmark. Think of it as meaning the four Cs: cosiness and comfortable conviviality leading to overall contentment."
"It sounds like you swallowed the dictionary, Flower!" remarked Korah.

Make sure you grab all your belongings when travelling, no pet should have to search for a loved toy if left behind. This little blue hat buddy is just as excited about the new adventure as you are!

“You know, this is the best ever scenery, Flower!” said Scotty.
"It's very nice indeed—but you never know, the next leg of the tour might be even better!" said Flower.

A icy drip of frosting covers the stately trees, showing the sparkle of crystals formed in place of leaves long since dropped as your pet starts traversing the lightly marked path in the fresh fallen snow.

“Seeing these places makes me want to spend a week or two, Flower,” remarked Violet Damson.
"Well, I guess that's the point of travel, isn't it?" said Flower. "To broaden your horizons and so on."

"What do you get when you cross an aeroplane with a magician, Flower?" asked Peachy.
"I don't know, what?" asked Flower in a resigned voice.
"A flying sorcerer!" cried Peachy.

Climbing quickly into the blue horizon on a sun filled day, everypet can gaze out the window and see the landscape below! Why, it almost resembles the drawing on the refrigerator of the amoeba from last week’s science lesson.

“I could stay here forever, Flower,” said Gendry. “This is an amazing place!”
“Well, you never know what lies ahead, Gendry. I wouldn't be surprised if the next stop is even better!” said Flower.

Lucky enough to get the window seat, just beyond the tip of the wing, everypet can gaze at the clouds below, which at this height resemble cotton balls strewn on the bathroom floor.

Flower was feeling nervous about flying. "How often do aeroplanes crash, George?" he whispered.
“Only once!" replied George.

"Do you think we'll see penguins like we did on Snow Beach that time, Paula?" asked Flower.
"Oh gosh, Flower, do you remember those sharks, and the octopus as well? Poor Fresco took one look and hid in the bottom of the boat!" responded Paula.

Flower clutched the itinerary nervously. "If the engines fail, Valentino, how long do we have before the plane hits the ground?" he whispered.
“The rest of your life!" replied Valentino heartlessly. "Stop worrying, Flower; statistically you're much safer flying in an aeroplane than you are crossing the road."

Topping off over 20,000 feet, the summit of this majestic climb is much easier to top when soaring in a plane!

“Ooh, it's just starting to get a bit cold, Flower!” said ypmblessed. “Can you hold my map while I dig out my scarf?"
Flower good-naturedly took charge of ypmblessed's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a spool of thread, a handful of golden and silver moles, a door key, some shopping receipts, a screwdriver, a bottle of multivitamins, a lottery ticket and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the scarf right at the bottom. This she donned and then Flower helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

Ice and snow as far as the eye can see, unspoiled by any pet’s tracks, the pristine canvas calling out for snow angels!

These delicate and intricate snow crystals have floated down many miles before they nestle alongside their billions of siblings blanketing the vista in pure white. Is it true that no two of those little flakes are identical? Can every snowflake really be unique? The brief answer is: yes! Just as there are no two pets exactly the same, each snowflake is different from the one next to it.
