@ Canopy of Maple Leaves
Garnet and Mekmek are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Autumn in Green
Harvest-time in the countryside—what better time can there be? On this part of the tour, pets will start in a shady wood and have a picnic by an old country barn before continuing. They will discover an open air market of farmers' produce and be able to choose from the displayed apples, grapes, coffee beans, strawberries and chillies before viewing the coffee berries still growing. There are views of cornfields and flowers before finishing with a stroll along the river to admire the autumnal foliage.

As you stroll into this small village and begin to look around, don't forget to look up or you might miss the beautiful fall leaves overhead!

@ Path Leading to a Special Place
Garnet and Faεяydaε, having shaken paws, got so engrossed in conversation about the beautiful scenery that they had to hurry along so as not to be left behind! They regretfully bade au revoir and auf Wiedersehen to each other!

@ Weathered Barn
Garnet and Jeff, having shaken paws, got so engrossed in conversation about the beautiful scenery that they had to hurry along so as not to be left behind! They regretfully bade au revoir and auf Wiedersehen to each other!

This autumn village is rich with history as you see the various wooden structures hand-built with time and effort, each board no doubt having a story to tell.

@ Sparkling Dew Drops
“Shall we take a selfie?” Garnet asked Blástjarna as they drank in the peaceful scene and admired each other’s purchases of harvest produce.

This autumn realm lays at the bottom of several hillsides, causing its grasses to still have dew on them even at noon, as you (and your shoes) soon discovered upon your arrival.

@ Prairie Grass Before the Woods
"Bubblegum, just take a look all around you and breathe deeply! Get that good fresh air in your lungs! Does it get any better than this?" asked Garnet, who had just met Bubblegum at this Autumn Experience stop.

As you enter the village, you recall the beautiful prairie grass that preceded the woods, as each blade of grass, gently swaying back and forth with the breeze, began to melt the stress off your shoulders.

@ Flourishing Florist
“I’m going to ask if I can take a cutting of this,” Sugie said to Garnet. “This would look just fine in a half barrel in my front garden!”

At the end of the fence and treeline leading into the village, you encounter the local florist and the special roses being cultivated. This is perfect as it allows you to purchase a rose to take to your host for the evening!

“You know, Cicero said 'If you have a garden and a library you have everything you need',” mused Craven.
"I don't think I've met Cicero," said Garnet. "Is he on this tour?"

@ Strawberry Patch
“These are great as a cake flavouring,” said Garnet.
“You can add it to savoury dishes as well. It’s very versatile,” observed purple.

As you continue into the village you see behind some of the market stalls and produce wagons a strawberry patch with just ripened and delicious strawberries ready for the picking!

@ An Abundance of Chili Peppers
“I hope we can buy more of this at our local farmer's market,” observed Garnet, as he and Morri tucked into a delicious food sample!

One produce cart that you didn't expect to see was an overflowing cart of a variety of chili peppers, something that the locals love to munch on as an afternoon snack, as well as use in their favorite recipes.

“I’m going to try growing these at home!” announced Garnet, after he and ~meepop~ had tucked into some yummy organic harvest food!

Inspired by the sunny day, Jewel said, “Wouldn't it be fun to work on the harvest?”
Garnet took a more pragmatic view. “You’d have to be up before dawn every day and work for 12 hours practically non-stop!”
Jewel hastily revised her romantic harvest vision.

One of the vendors has combined his freshly picked grapes with the special roses from the florist to create unique arrangements for the townsfolk's special days.

@ Unusual Flowers
"This is a glorious specimen, NUTTER", observed Garnet. "What a shame that in a month or so all this colour will be gone!"
"You know the best way to get colour in your garden all year, Garnet?" said NUTTER. "Buy a garden gnome!"

One market stall sells unique flowers, such as the Chinese lantern, the orange leaves of which form a protective cover for the plant's simple white flowers and poisonous fruit (when unripened - but not very tasty even when ripe!), which makes the orange leaves the real attention-grabber!

Milica greeted Garnet cheerily, recommending he expended some silver moles on the fresh harvest food before them.

Garnet was excited by seeing all the different harvest produce. “I’m going to apply for an allotment and start growing my own food!” he announced to Julia, when they met and shook paws.

While the red and green coffee berries sound very appealing, you may just want a regular cup of coffee, made with the finest of beans. The beans are freshly ground for your specific order, so you know that it's going to be fresh and good!

“What’s this flower called?” Garnet said to Jinx. “Er—I only know the Latin name for it,” said Jinx and hastily changed the subject.

“I’m going to have to spend a lot of time when we get back looking up what all these flowers are!” said Garnet to Julian.

Upon arriving at your night's lodgings, you present the arrangement of roses to your hosts, thanking them for their hospitality. A tradition in this autumn realm is to present any lodgers with a rose as well - so you find it very enjoyable to have the flower's wonderful fragrance to be in your room too!

@ Double Rainbow Dream
Aki shook paws with Garnet and was just enjoying the view when he was distracted by loud rustling as Garnet unfolded a very lengthy Autumn Experience itinerary, in the course of which he succeeded in knocking Aki’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Aki. “I’m about to take a photo of this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

As you lay your head down for a good night's rest, you find yourself dreaming of the double rainbow you saw as you approached the outlying prairie. It made you feel like you were in for a double blessing once you came into the village.

@ Misty Yellow Flowers
“What’s this flower called?” Garnet said to lady lovely. “Er—I only know the Latin name for it,” said lady lovely and hastily changed the subject.

The next morning after breakfast, you begin to head out for the next autumn realm and are blessed with seeing soft, small yellow flowers opening to the sun's rays while a very faint mist begins to lift.

@ The Village Pond
“What have you got in your tote bag, Lady Thea?” asked Garnet. “It looks very full!”
“I’ve come prepared for anything the weather can throw at us, Garnet,” responded Lady Thea. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name them, I’ve got them!”

As you begin to make your way out of the village and back towards the woods, you take the time to stop by the village pond with its quiet waters and reflections of the morning's sunrise. You even take a moment to skip a stone or two!

@ Reflection of Fall Colors
Garnet and Franny were entranced at reaching this stopping place and eagerly posed for a picture!

A little further along the shore and you are blessed with the fall colors that greeted you the day before, only this time it is a blessing that's doubled as these colorful trees are mirrored upon the still waters of the village pond.

@ Sunlit Woods
While Garnet paused to enjoy the view, Sam started scrabbling in his rucksack for his portable, folding camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Sam?” asked Garnet. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

As the sun continues to rise, it lends its light upon the many trees that make up the wooded border of this autumn realm. You are glad for the day you had in the quiet village, but are excited for the new possibilities that lay beyond the woods!

@ Prairie Grass Awaits
Garnet and Midnight agreed that the variety of scenery on their Autumn Experience trip was the best ever! They exchanged opinions on which their favourite scene had been so far, and which was the most delicious harvest food they had eaten in their travels!
