Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 1/25

Scaredy Cat was excited as he was getting ready for bed. Tomorrow he and Bob were hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt for all the NPCs and their families at Bob’s house. Oh they were going to have so much fun!

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 2/25

Scaredy Cat climbed into the tub to take a bubble bath and was still thinking about what all was going to happen.

“I bet we will have everyone scrambling around looking for eggs and jelly beans! And of course the food is going to be amazing!”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 3/25

Finally it was bedtime. The big day was around the corner. Tucked nice and comfy into his bed Scaredy Cat was a little restless but that was expected with the excitement yet to come. Who really can sleep when there is such a big day coming?

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 4/25

DING DONG!

“OMG! You are here already Mr Wm Gilbert! Am I running late? Did I sleep in?” exclaimed Scaredy Cat. “But wait! Something is missing! Where are your bunny ears and tail?!?! You are supposed to play the Easter bunny for all the kids?”

“I know… rushing out the door in fear of being late I forgot them. Perhaps Bob will have a spare set or we can get one of the bunnies to play the role.”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 5/25

“Yes. That should work. I know the bunnies will be out in droves. We surely should be able to find someone. Come in and let’s have some coffee and scones before we head off to Bob’s.”

Both Mr Wm Gilbert and Scaredy Cat settled down into the living room to have a quick nibble. They knew they would be extremely busy with the festivities of the day.

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 6/25

“Hey Bob! Mr Wm Gilbert and I are here to help you get things set up for the Annual NPC Easter Egg Hunt.”

“Great but you are a little late.”

“Late? Ummm…..”

“Sir W was here last night with a gallon of his special cold brew coffee and well let me tell you that penguin knows his coffee. Everything is set up and ready to go! Here, let me show you both around.”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 7/25

“Here we have the spoon egg race station. You can see the obstacles the racers will encounter and all the beautiful decorated eggs they will have to balance atop their spoons. I’m certain some hilarity will ensue.”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 8/25

“This here is the actual hunting grounds. Egg hunt that is. Scattered all around are treats galore for all the kiddos and parents to find.” Bob explained. “Chocolate and special find eggs. They will love it! We took great care to not make it too easy.”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 9/25

“And this is the ‘Piece de la Resistance!’ the snack table!”

Mr Wm Gilbert and Scaredy Cat were astounded! Never had they seen a table covered with as many treats as this. From fresh fruits to baked goods to punches for the kids and more desirable beverages for the adults there was everything a pet could desire! This day was going to be perfect!

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 10/25

“Ahhh! Look!” exclaimed Bob. “The first guests are arriving.”

In walked Missy and Jack followed by Samantha and Alexander and even more NPCs.

“Hey! There is Rascal E Rabbit! Let’s ask him to play the role of the Easter Bunny before he gets into the Carrotinis since Mr Wm Gilbert here forgot their ears and tail.”

“I already said I was sorry! I was in a rush!”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 11/25

Walking over to the egg hunt field Bob, Mr Wm Gilbert and Scaredy Cat met up with Rascal E Rabbit.

“Hey, do you mind playing the role of the Easter Bunny today? Mr Wm Gilbert forgot their ears and tail so we are in a bind.”

Looking out over the field of kids racing around searching for eggs and treats Rascal E. only had think for a fraction of a second, “Sign me up!”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 12/25

Wandering over to the spoon races the gang laughed watching pets trying to balance eggs atop spoons.

“Let me try.” said Rascal E and off he went to join the fun.

“Look! The Easter Bunny is racing!”

“And there he goes!”

Rascal E managed to trip over one of the obstacles and go splat! Cracking his poor egg much to the delight of everyone watching.

“Better luck next time!”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 13/25

“Let’s go have some treats before there are none left.” said Bob. “I think Rascal E, I mean the Easter Bunny, could use some refreshments after that spill he took. Maybe a fresh Carrotini.”

So they joined the gang of pets around the refreshment table. It was starting to look picked over with every pet having some sort of treat or another but at least they were able to get some delightful snacks and beverages.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

“Wha?!?! What’s going on?” sputtered Scaredy Cat.

DING DONG!

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

“Scaredy Cat! Where are you? We are going to be late!” called out Mr Wm Gilbert from beyond the door.

“Oh no! I’ve slept in!”

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

“Hey Bob! JJ, Mr Wm Gilbert and I are here to help set up for the hunt. Open up!”

“Oh hi guys.” Bob replied opening the door.

“Hi Bob. We’re here to help. Let’s get starte….what has happened here?!?”

“Oh this? Well….”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 16/25

Bob led the gang inside the living room.

“Bob! What happened here?!?”

“Well you see I was looking for the decorations in the attic and it was box upon box. Every box I pulled out was either Halloween or Christmas. Never Easter. It’s here somewhere I know but…”

“Ok, we can do something about this. We will find the decorations and get things set up. Please tell us the kitchen is better.”

“Umm….”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 17/25

The gang wandered into the kitchen.

“BOB!” they exclaimed in unison.

“I was baking up all the treats and time got away. I just could not get cleaned up. But we have yummy goodies!”

“Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!” cried Scaredy Cat. “Whatever are we going to do? The guests will be here for the hunt in a couple hours and it is a disaster zone!”

“It’s ok.” reassured Mr Wm Gilbert. “Together we can get this cleaned up. Somehow. And decorated. And nobody will ever know. Right Bob?”

“Ummm, sure! We can do it….”

“Then let’s get to work!”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 18/25

Pulling out feather dusters, hey these look more like cat toys than dusters, and buckets the crew got to work.

“Do you think we can use a skeleton?” asked JJ pulling one out of a box.

“I found a Santa!” said Mr Wm Gilbert.

The hunt through the boxes for the Easter decorations was not going as well as the team had hoped. They had to be somewhere but they seemed to be making more of a mess and getting nowhere.

“Hey, what is this? I have never seen anything like this before.” exclaimed Scaredy Cat reaching into yet another box.

QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!

Out popped the most amazing duck the gang had ever seen!

“Thank you for rescuing me from that awful box I have been trapped in! Did you know Bob’s attic smells?”

*dead silence from the gang*

“What you have nothing to say? You have never seen a talking duck before? Sheesh! That surprises me given the mixed up gang you all are. Anyhow, thank you again. I see you have quite the mess here and I heard you all talking about a big event in only a matter of hours. I might be able to help you out with that. I have always had this urge to clean. See? I like things neat and tidy. And, sorry Bob, but this place right now makes me shudder. Shall we get to work?”

*dead silence still from the gang*

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 20/25

Mr Wm Gilbert was the first to snap out of the dumbfounded state.

“Yes! Please. How shall we begin? Here in the living room? Or dare I mention that kitchen?”

“Let’s split up to go faster. There are only a few boxes left so Easter decorations are soon to be found and the boxes returned to the attic. That is a perfect job for you Mr Wm Gilbert and Bob as you both look the strongest. The rest of us will tackle the kitchen and then we will meet up to decorate.”

With that the team split up.

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 21/25

“OMG! Look at this living room! Nary a box left around. You can actually walk through here. We will be able to walk around and decorate no problem. Bob even has a sofa and end tables! Who knew?”

Mr Wm Gilbert and Bob had done a spectacular and efficient job at clearing out the boxes and dusting off the entire room. You would not know it was the same place.

“Let’s check out the kitchen.”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 22/25

“We can even eat from the floor!”

Every surface sparkled and shined like it was brand new. Treats were on plates and bowls ready to be placed out for when the guests arrived. No longer did it look like a tornado spun through.

“I would be proud to serve all these treats and drinks to the guests now. Great work team! Now let’s go set up the hunt.”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 23/25

As time was rapidly running out the gang ran into Bob’s yard to get the Egg Hunt set up. Together they hid eggs behind shrubs and trees. Even chocolates and little gifts got hidden. Then came the decorations that were thankfully found by Mr Wm Gilbert in the boxes.

“I think we are ready!” exclaimed Scaredy Cat.

“Not quite.” replied the lil ducky. “Something is missing.”

Mr Wm Gilbert is questing! Episode 24/25

“Missing? What do you mean missing?” asked Mr Wm Gilbert.

“Flowers! You need flowers!” stated the lil ducky pulling out a vase from under their wing. “This will make thing perfect and beautiful and oh so spring like.”

“Yes! Just what we need! Those are simply stunning!”

“And Mr Wm Gilbert I have something special here for you. You have been such a great help. I don’t think this event would be ready to go without you. Afterall you were the one to find the decorations and gosh you have proven yourself as a speed cleaner so I would like to present you with this special egg. If you ever need assistance again just crack it and I will come lend a wing.”

“Awwww, thank you…”

“Look! The first guests are arriving. I think I see Missy and Rascal E and is that Joy in the sky?”
