The poppy can have many symbolic meanings in different cultures, for example, restful sleep and recovery. For others, it is a cheery harbinger of summer because of its size and intense colors. On this island there is a huge swathe of red poppies, providing a feast for the eyes and senses.

Did you know that some varieties of sunflower can grow up to 15 feet high and 12 inches across their happy faces? The pets will find out whether these sunflowers are of that variety when they come across them on Le Mystère.

COVID was becoming increasingly irritated with the constant clicking and beeping of Rex's camera disturbing the peace and quiet, so COVID moved purposefully on without him!

As the pets jostle for position on top of Panorama Peak, they can see stretched out below them and far into the distance all the meadows, lakes, forests, hills and mountains of L'Île Mystère. What an adventure it will be to explore it all!

COVID finally makes it back to the landing stage, where Foxy is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! COVID pockets a map of L'île Mystère as a momento. The guidebook says:

What an adventure this island will prove to be! There are opportunities for rambling up hill and down dale, and splendid views across lakes and mountains. There are fields of aromatic and colourful flowers. At one point in their exploration the pets will meet a huge reptile but rest assured—it will do no harm! Bon voyage!
