Boomer and Cheery are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground South
Roll up! Roll up! After sunset the fairground is transformed into a glittering arena of swirling lights, with a backdrop of squawks, yelps and howls from pets clinging on for dear life to the scary rollercoaster and whirling round on the fluorescently lit big wheel! The best view is of course from the top, so c'mon, everypet, and have the experience of your life! For pets preferring a gentler ride, hold on tightly to the reins while our carousel horses look after you on a circular journey under a blue starry canopy. Then it's time to indulge in candy, popcorn, gingerbread and pumpkin pie made from the fall harvest! Hopefully everypet will have enough silver moles left to buy a magnificent helium balloon to take home ...

"Now it's night-time, this place reminds me a little of our tour round the Labyrinth that time," said Sam slightly uneasily.
"Don't worry, Sam," said Boomer jovially. "No scorpions, snakes or spiders here! The thrills are of a—different nature!"

@ Roller Coaster Boaster
The ride had started off fairly gently, but was now gathering speed at a great rate! Midnight and Boomer had met just as it was starting and had managed to shake paws and say “Hello” before the ride deprived them both of breath!

Your cart reaches the top of the slope and then there is a moment of calm when it pauses before it starts on its helter-skelter journey downwards -- until it hits the next climb back upwards!

From the queue, Maxwell nervously eyed the fairground ride whirling beside himself and Boomer. “What if the cable breaks?” he asked. “Oh, that won’t be a problem!” said Boomer airily. “They can always get another one!”

Starlight and Boomer were choosing a drink to go with their food when there was suddenly an almighty SPLASH! from the waterslide and they were hit by flying droplets from the pool!

Remember the old-fashioned pick 'n' mix in the shop where you would go on a Saturday morning with your pocket money of silver moles tightly clutched in one paw? Then you would emerge with a paper bag of candy in one paw and a comic in the other -- those were the days!

Whilst other pets were staggering dizzily off the ride, Garth and Boomer decided to go round again!

Baile Átha Cliath hesitated as he and Boomer approached the next ride. "I don't know, Boomer, it makes me feel a bit scared!"
"Would you say it was on a par with coming face-to-face with those wolves suddenly in the Labyrinth?" asked Boomer cheerfully. "Look, you don't have to do it if you don't want; you can watch me go round and then decide."

Ferris wheels are named after George W. Ferris, a US engineer from Pittsburgh, who built the first one for the World Expo in Chicago in 1893. Expo visitors found unexpected excitement and novelty. Not only the Ferris wheel but the amazing new wonder that ran it—electricity—were presented for the first time in America.
