Herman and Pills are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground North
All the fun of the fair is here to provide your pet with entertainment and thrills, from waterslide to big wheel. And has your pet a strong enough stomach for a death-defying rollercoaster ride? To help restore your pet's equilibrium after all the excitements of the fairground rides, there are stalls selling hot potato snacks, popcorn, toffee apples, candy and delicious cakes and other yummy delights made from the autumn harvest produce! We hope everypet will leave clutching at least one of the fun carnival novelties!

Fairings is the traditional name for edible souvenirs sold at fairs throughout England. These ginger fairings became associated with Cornish fairs and are still popular in the region.

“Hi, Herman!” called out Killion. “Are you going to join me in having a tasty snack before we go on the other rides?” Herman ordered his own portion, and Killion passed a paper serviette to him.

"Would you like a fork with that, Herman?" asked Mae, as their respective servings of food were placed on the counter in front of them.
"No, that's fine, thank you, Mae! I'm just going to dive in!" (which, in a manner of speaking, he then did).

@ Pommes Frites Treat
Misty and Herman were choosing a drink to go with their food when there was suddenly an almighty SPLASH! from the waterslide and they were hit by flying droplets from the pool!

"Can we come back here soon, Herman?" asked Aria, wide-eyed with excitement as she surveyed the delights of the fairground.
"You'll have to ask Uncle David," said Herman. "He might have something even more incredible planned for our next excursion!"

Azinza got carefully down from the ride, stumbling slightly and holding tightly onto the sides. "I say, you do look a bit green, Azinza, old thing!" said Herman. "I'm reminded of when you got seasick on our Crocodile Creek trip!"
"I was not seasick," said Azinza with dignity. "I had merely eaten something that disagreed with me."

Navi hesitated as she and Herman approached the next ride. "I don't know, Herman, it makes me feel a bit scared!"
"Would you say it was on a par with coming face-to-face with those wolves suddenly in the Labyrinth?" asked Herman cheerfully. "Look, you don't have to do it if you don't want; you can watch me go round and then decide."

Jillie gulped in dismay. “It’ll be quite safe, won’t it, Herman?” she whispered.
”Yes, of course,” Herman reassured her. “They’ve not lost a pet yet!”

The slides were built to a height of between 70 ft - 80 ft (21-24 m), had a 50 degree drop. Ironically, the Russian term for roller coaster, "amerikanskie gorki", translates literally as "American mountains."

As sunset falls, you enjoy the ever-changing view as you chug a little further upwards and then pause as each pod takes on its precious cargo of pets eager to enjoy the ride. Then when all the pods are full, the wheel starts to turn, building up speed!
