Long before the days of technological travel, pets travelling from Creatoria to the Mirage Archipelago would flock to use the Balloon Highway. Hundreds of hot air balloons would fill the skies of the Gelid Ocean carrying pets from one region to another. While no longer the must-use method of transportation, pets can often find single vessels traversing what has become known as the Lone Balloon Highway.

Scholars believe it is an illusion, having something to do with the salt content of the ocean spray. Some pets think it is a blessing from an unknown entity.
