@ Dog Sled Fun
Riley and Summer!!! have been given a free map to help them enjoy their Winter Tour! Before unfolding it, they read the cover:
Aerial Adventure
The pets are collected after breakfast by a friendly array of sled dogs eager to be off! They will have to hang on tight for a speedy journey through a wintry vista before arriving at the aerodrome, where the pets will board a light aircraft for the day's trip. There will be superb aerial views of snowy mountains far below, with Alpine villages and public gardens becoming clearer in detail as the plane descends on its flight path for landing. As sunset falls the plane will land within easy walking distance of the night's accommodation. Here the pets can gather on large, comfy sofas to swap stories of the day's experiences, recharge their energy with cups of cappuccino, then enjoy hot bowls of soup and bread, and perhaps relax with a book before bedtime.
Dog Sled Fun
Mush never sounded so fun! Snuggling up in the blankets and enjoying the managed chaos of a sled ride, everypet will enjoy seeing the sights from a different vantage point.

"Do you think we'll see penguins like we did on Snow Beach that time, Aletheia?" asked Riley.
"Oh gosh, Riley, do you remember those sharks, and the octopus as well? Poor Fresco took one look and hid in the bottom of the boat!" responded Aletheia.

Make sure you grab all your belongings when travelling, no pet should have to search for a loved toy if left behind. This little blue hat buddy is just as excited about the new adventure as you are!

“If there's time at the end when we get back to our accommodation, I might do some initial sketches for a watercolour painting," Faεяydaε said, offering Riley a toffee from the bag and then unwrapping one for herself.
“That sounds like a good plan, Faεяydaε!" said Riley. "Very hyggelig!"

A icy drip of frosting covers the stately trees, showing the sparkle of crystals formed in place of leaves long since dropped as your pet starts traversing the lightly marked path in the fresh fallen snow.

"Wasn’t it worth coming all this way, Riley," said Nessie, "for this experience alone?"

"Hey, Sweet Pea—where does a mountain climber keep his plane?"
"I don't know," said Sweet Pea.
“In a cliff-hangar!" chortled Riley.

Climbing quickly into the blue horizon on a sun filled day, everypet can gaze out the window and see the landscape below! Why, it almost resembles the drawing on the refrigerator of the amoeba from last week’s science lesson.

“If there's time at the end when we get back to our accommodation, I might do some initial sketches for a watercolour painting," HappyCheerling said, offering Riley a toffee from the bag and then unwrapping one for himself.

Lucky enough to get the window seat, just beyond the tip of the wing, everypet can gaze at the clouds below, which at this height resemble cotton balls strewn on the bathroom floor.

"It's very nice indeed—but you never know, the next leg of the tour might be even better!" said Riley.

Cuddles was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Riley unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which he succeeded in knocking Cuddles’s hat off.
“Put that away, do!” said Cuddles in exasperation. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up PDQ!”

"Well, I guess that's the point of travel, isn't it?" said Riley. "To broaden your horizons and so on."

Clouds scuttle across the sky, revealing the craggy peak of the mountain side; be sure you pull up on that throttle quickly or it won’t end well!

“Ooh, it's just starting to get a bit cold, Riley!” said Mekmek. “Can you hold my map while I dig out my scarf?"
Riley good-naturedly took charge of Mekmek's possessions while he emptied his rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a spool of thread, a handful of golden and silver moles, a door key, some shopping receipts, a screwdriver, a bottle of multivitamins, a lottery ticket and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the scarf right at the bottom. This he donned and then Riley helped him put everything back in his rucksack.

“The rest of your life!" replied Choose a namebecky heartlessly. "Stop worrying, Riley; statistically you're much safer flying in an aeroplane than you are crossing the road."

Riley is tired out and ready to go home when Frosty comes along. "Wow! You find a special prize!" says Frosty. Riley turns round and found it was just behind them!

These delicate and intricate snow crystals have floated down many miles before they nestle alongside their billions of siblings blanketing the vista in pure white. Is it true that no two of those little flakes are identical? Can every snowflake really be unique? The brief answer is: yes! Just as there are no two pets exactly the same, each snowflake is different from the one next to it.
